WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump erupted at his top political advisers last week when they presented him with worrisome polling data that showed his support eroding in a series of battleground states as his response to the coronavirus comes under criticism.

As the virus takes its deadly toll and much of the nation’s economy remains shuttered, new surveys by the Republican National Committee and Trump’s campaign pointed to a harrowing picture for the president as he faces reelection.

“I am not f—ing losing to Joe Biden,” he repeated in a series of heated conference calls with his top campaign officials, according to five people with knowledge of the conversations. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about private discussions.

“We built the greatest economy in the world,” Trump has said publicly. “I’ll do it a second time.”

He doesn't have much time to do it in, and the longer he allows that gnome Fauci to destroy the economy with the stupid shutdowns, the harder it will get.

President Trump now needs to turn his full attention to getting the
USA back up and running. Come Sep/Oct the schools need to be
ready for children back in the class room.

Any link that fails in the production line of goods, food and services
can have a major impact on startup or growth. There is a chance we’ll
see some impact in some of the products or services that we all like.

Hopefully most areas will be ready, up and running for the beginning
of 2020/21 school year. And then comes the fall and Holiday season
and the 2020 election on Tuesday, November 3.

Why do you assume that Trump will be blamed? Why go off that assumption first? If large large BLUE states remain on lock down out of spite then it will be on them and not Trump. If they remain on lockdown because their cases have not come down(New York), then its legit for them and still wont hurt Trump.

Americans I believe have not forgotten how this all started(a Virus from China), we were all flying blind at first, the whole world was, and now we have more information and our strategies are changing. I’m not assuming Trump will be blamed — though he would if he was unprepared — because I am most confident he is, as usual, light years ahead of anything his enemies have planned. The only mistake of any significance Trump has made throughout this entire debacle — and it was a doozy of a mistake — was ceding his authority to set policy to “The Experts” ... people who were breathtakingly wrong with just about everything they did and who clearly have no more wisdom to set national policy then my friendly bagger at Grocery Outlet.
