Former Vice President Joe Biden told Iowa Radio he would not pardon President Donald Trump if the president is impeached and removed from office. He was making a clear reference to President Gerald Ford pardoning President Richard Nixon once Nixon was impeached. The pardon kept Nixon from being prosecuted for his role in the Watergate scandal.
“It wouldn’t unite the country,” Biden said about a potential pardon. “You’d say: ‘Wait a minute. I get a parking ticket and I’ve got to pay it. This happens to me and I’ve got to go to jail. This guy does all these things that put us jeopardy and he gets off?"
"And I think President Ford, God love him he’s a good guy, I knew him pretty well, I think if he had to do it over again he wouldn’t have done it…because he didn’t get re-elected," the former vice president said.

The irony is that none of the Dem candidates, except maybe “The Bern” would pardon Joe - he’s the perfect sacrifice for them.
Depends on who is given the 400-500 Democrat Super Delegates...Likely will be Biden...
No need to pardon Biden and other Demonicrats following their trials, convictions and sentences... unless Dr. Frankenstein can bring them back.

They don't know that. Or at least they won't choose to believe that.
All those heroic actions that we keep blustering about? We are going to have to go through with them. Or walk away. Either choice could be correct in various circumstances.
Plan accordingly.

It’s not heroic. There won’t be a choice if people start to get imprisoned or there is a hot coup.
Yet, Trump refuses to prosecute Biden.
What is going to happen is that every Dem pres will pardon all Dem convicts.
What a jerk.
He think this will get him the Dem nomination.
I have a more favorable inclination for local activities rather than making a long trip to the swamp. There are lots of interesting things to see and do within a 50-mile radius.
President Trump can't prosecute Biden. At least not yet.
President Trump commands a Federal bureaucracy that is largely insubordinate and cannot be trusted to carry out his orders or policies. 95% of campaign contributions from Federal employees go to Democrats. The alliances are perfectly clear.
The President needs trustworthy people appointed to key executive positions in the bureaucracy. And he needs competent, trustworthy people in the staff of those same departments. He does not have enough of either.
