Of all the tiresome falsehoods from the so-called “resistance,” the narrative that Democrats lose elections because they are just too decent and fair is among the most ridiculous.
If only they would put aside their genteel political ways, this self-serving theory goes, and do what is necessary instead of what is civil, they would force the American people to finally see the truth of Donald Trump’s evil.
Columnist Juan Williams (who, it should be noted, does have a reputation for civility) is the latest to propagate this assessment of Democrats as being too fair to their opponents in the Trump era.

Juan Williams is RUDE and he always SHOUTS.
Every time I hear (and see) Juan, I get the feeling that, wiring in his brain never completed in his mother’s womb. But then, that would be the case for most liberals.
People do come out of the womb with handicaps, but, Juan has the mental deficiency type. No logic whatsoever on the issues.
To a Democrat, if he doesn't shoot his questioner with bear spray, Juan is the leading edge of civility.
We need to inspect his personal computer for kiddie porn.
Be fair, Juan has the impossible and very painful task of defending the indefensible. Given the idiotic ideas he has to work with, he is doing as well as could be expected. Could you or I really do any better if we were in his shoes?
Juan is only a democrat defender because he’s there to counter the republican side. If he stopped his opposition agenda, he would be out of a job. I don’t believe EVEN HE believes all the stupid stuff that comes out of his mouth. And even one of his sons doesn’t either, since that son is a republican.
If his brains were dynamite, they wouldn’t blow his nose.
To be fair, you and I wouldn’t get ourselves into his shoes.
There are 3 kinds of Democrats, the stupid, the fools, and the evil.
Which one is Juan?
A combination of all three.
Don’t leave out the liars.
Well all three will lie, so I didn’t include that as a separate category.
And none of the three are mutually contradictory, so yes, it can be some combination.
The only reason that I separate out the fools and the stupid is that there are man very intelligent fools.
