White House press secretary Sarah Sanders will leave her post at the end of the month, President Donald Trump has announced.
Mr.Trump said he's encouraging her to run for governor when she returns home to Arkansas, where her father once held the governor's seat.
Ms.Sanders is one of Trump's closest and most trusted White House aides and one of the few remaining who worked on his campaign, taking on the job of advocating for and defending a president who had a negative view of the media.

Even if Sarah has any further political ambitions, I suspect she may stay out of politics for a few years, just to get the rest of her life back. Sarah is young in political terms; she will be 36 y/o in two more months. She could ‘go dark’ for the next decade, till the kids are much older before reentering the Viper Nest aka Washington DC.
VP Cheney’s oldest daughter has done something similar.
If she runs, she will win.

Politically, I have no idea how to classify Bannon.
He's clever, smart, and has a Type A personality.
But as far as personal convictions, I can't see any.
My friends WE’RE Republicans. She’s been there long enough. Time to move on to bigger and better things. She’s not a skinny Stacy Abrams(loser). Governor following in her father’s footsteps would be right. Bigger fish to fry-right? The left must be quaking in their boots knowing she’s on to bigger and better things. First female POTUS may be far fetched but she’s young.
8 years as gov. 12 in the Senate. That’s a good timeline. Next-who knows?
The AR GOP has been grooming the Lt. Governor, Tim Griffin for that job. I have my doubts Sarah would even try to run. Either would beat whichever Sad Sack The dems nominate, for sure.
I’d like to see Isuzu Joe or Baghdad Bob. They’d stand up to the press.
