I don’t see him doing that, quite the contrary.

He signed the omnibus bill, didn’t he?

Sean Hannity on Larry Hogan: “feckless, uninspiring, and visionless.”

nothing blase about my attitude.

I live in Virginia, which is a deep blue state.

I am in SW Virginia, Appalachia which you would think would be conservative. But you would be very, very wrong. Most of the people in my neck of Virginia are very liberal.

Being grossly outnumbered means there is little I can do to change anything.

Hopefully, it is different where you live.

"The brightest hope right now is Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, who last year became the first Republican governor to be re-elected in the deep-blue state, with a 13-point margin. . . .Defending Democracy Together, a group run by conservative journalist Bill Kristol, believes there already exists an appetite among GOP voters for a change atop the party, if only a strong candidate would exploit it. The group, armed with polling and focus group data it commissioned specifically for this pitch, has held discussions with Hogan and, it claims, other potentially interested prominent Republicans it is declining to name.": Inside the secret Republican plot to take down Trump in 2020

It’s OK. Even though he’s wrong people need to hear this so they get off their asses and vote.

He may crack 400 electoral votes.

I don't think so. The DNC, RNC, and media will be gunning for him from every angle, no matter who his opponent will be. He pulled off a miracle win in 2016, winning several key big states by razor-thin margins. That will not be allowed to happen again.

Trump took 46 Electoral Votes in 3 states with less than a 1% margin of victory. (MI 20 EV and 0.23%, PA 16 EV and 0.72%, WI 10 EV and 0.77%) He lost one state, NH (4 EV, -0.37%) with a margin under 1%.

If you don't think that the RNC, DNC, media, Russians, Chinese, illegal aliens, and creepy porn lawyers can't manufacture 0.7% in just 3 states... well then, we are in disagreement.

The difference in MI, PA, and WI could have been reversed with a total of just 77,750 votes... out of 130 million nation-wide votes... 0.06% of the total... and the Dems are importing illegals by the thousands each month, for 48 months.

Those 46 EVs make it a Dem win, 258 to 273 (no matter where the 7 "faithless Electors" go)
(Add in FL, 29 EV, and 1.2% margin... just 112,000 votes... to make it a massive Democrat victory, 309-229.)

Below is the May 17 2016 prediction map, just for reference...

Also interesting to note that the polling data attached to that map showed a Gravis Poll, taken May 10, 2016, that had it exactly correct – Clinton 48, Trump 46... Actual result was 48.18% to 46.09%...

and, of course, CNN/ORC 28 April to 1 May was off by 11 points total – Clinton 54, Trump 41.

Earlier today I read a report on poling of MD voters regarding Hogan and a possible presidential run. I think that 80% in the Dem majority state said they approve of him as governor. However, 55% did not want him to run for President. I don’t know how his family would feel about a run when he just recovered from a serious bout with cancer.

God forbid someone to have their own opinion without someone else over reacting. As you know, MD is primarily democrat. If he comes across as an authentic republican, he would have lost reelection just like Erlich lost his reelection.

Hogan is better than the alternative and that is the best you will ever get in Maryland. It may not satisfy you, but it's reality.

Interesting story about how Trump is launching an effort to decriminalize people who are LGBT. What do you bet this never hits the mainstream media? If people really knew all he had accomplished he would win in a landslide. https://www.dailywire.com/news/43676/trump-launches-effort-end-criminalization-hank-berrien?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=benshapiro

That is what was predicted in the mid terms and it did not happen. The polls are meaningless (Oh, I forgot since you like these polls, they must be true). Hispanics supposedly had much higher approval ratings for Trump going into the mid terms, but they still voted for the dems in the same percent as they always have.

Don't fall for this hoax argument.

Nixon got a third of the black vote in 1960 and Goldwater got 4% of the black vote just 4 years later. It wasn't because of getting MLK out of jail, it was the passage of the Civil Rights Act that caused the voting change and they have never looked back.

He’s actually right. Trump didn’t win by that much.

He failed to restore the rule of law, so now in the 2018 election we saw democrats ballot box stuffing with impunity.

Today, democrats are going around the country holding seminars on how to do it nationwide.

Sorry, southwest Virginia is wildly conservative and republican. Your part of the state voted for Trump with 70 to 80% of the vote depending on the county. Also, check out the votes for Senators and Governors - all republicans win big. Your precinct may be blue perhaps, but your area is the most republican in the state, but a huge margin. It is so red, you can see it from space.

The omnibus bill? Which one are you referring to? H.J. Res. 31, the “Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2019”?

No, he won’t be any where near that number. His base has not grown in the last 2 years or so. 2020 will be a very tough race for a number of reasons.
