My talk radio station pointed out that Trump’s poll numbers match Obama’s at the same time period.
Of course, the truth is that Obama’s rating was enhanced and just wasn’t as good as they said. And Trump’s rating is just a lie. He’s doing better than these numbers.

All possible “D” candidates for 2020 POTUS have problems to the point where President Trump ends up being the better choice, overall, for 2020 POTUS by the majority of general election voters. Ditto, all possible “R” candidates for 2020 POTUS, with too many of them being RINO Republicans and/or being Anti-Trump Republicans. Economic successes and all other successes under President Trump coupled with RINO Republicanism and/or Anti-Trump Republicanism equals candidates for 2020 GOP POTUS who are, immediately and instantly, out of touch with what’s really going on, in the U.S. and in the world and who are out of touch with what the majority of general election voters are able to see for themselves.
The MSM has bad mouthed Trump day, after day, after day, called his supporters every damned name in the book and YET expect people being polled to be honest about supporting him??? BELIEVE ME Trumps poll numbers are MUCH HIGHER than anyone will ever know, just like the election the ONLY damn poll that matters IS in the PRIVACY of the voting booth!!! His rallies are still HUGE his support has not diminished in any way and these IDIOT so called journalists and pollsters did NOT learn one damned thing from the 2016 election!!! The more they demean Trump the stronger his support becomes AND the more quiet the supporters become due to the RABID HATRED spewn on ANYONE supporting him!!!!
Trump and his supporters (me included) must get it in their head that the majority of people in this country are more moved by style than substance. They do not like Trump’s lack of manners, nor his personal attacks (including me). Most are so extremely superficial that if one tries to explain the good things Trump is doing, they tune you out because they are emotionally and strongly predisposed to close their ears.
This makes defending Trump almost impossible.
It is Trump’s hard headed fault and it is up to him to tell the truth politely, to refrain from insults and name calling. And repetition, repetition, repetition!
It will take time, but it can work to change his numbers.
He will win in 2020 because heretofore the Democrats do not have a viable candidate.

The only way that Trump can win is if the Democrats nominate a bad candidate...which is what they will do. Someone like Joe Manchin could make it a race, but they won’t nominate someone like that. They will nominate someone like Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, or Kamala Harris. Trump won’t win in a landslide, but he will probably win.

National polls are not only useless, irrelevant, and wrong, they are fake when assessing the Electoral College.
His poll numbers are not low among the people that are going to vote for him.But since the Democrats have perfected their election stealing in 2018 and since the Republicans have no plans or desire to counter them, the poll results are probably moot.
