Mitt Romney, a candidate for U.S. Senate in Utah, said in an interview Monday that President Donald Trump is not a role model for his grandchildren.
"I don't think that I would point to the president as a role model for my grandkids on the basis of his personal style," Romney said in an exclusive interview with NBC News' Garrett Haake. "He has departed in some cases from the truth, and has attacked in a way that I think is not entirely appropriate."
Romney acknowledged that Trump's policies had "been by and large a good deal better than I might have expected," but added that “some of the things he has said are not ones that I would aspire for my grandkids to adopt."(continued)

In 2012, when he wanted (and received) Trump’s endorsement for his doomed presidential campaign, he spoke about Trump in the most glowing, obsequious terms:

But in 2016, all of a sudden Trump was a liar, a con man and a failure as a business man.
As the above video shows, Romney doesn't have an ounce of integrity, and shouldn’t hold any political position or have any public presence whatsoever.
Mittens needs to spend some time with some introspection - I don't care what he thinks. As an Anti-Trumper, he needs to come to grips that there are also Anti-Mittens.

It’s not just Utah. The is the GOPe talking point of the day. “Conservative” Senator Lankford from OK was saying exactly the same on a Sunday show when he wasn’t busy pushing amnesty.
