Both former President Bushes had choice words for current President Donald Trump in a new book scheduled to be published later this month, with the elder Bush reportedly calling the billionaire commander-in-chief a “blowhard” and flatly stating he does not “like” him.
Presidents George Bush and George W. Bush, the 41st and 43rd top executives respectively, spoke to author Mark K. Updegrove for the book “The Last Republicans.” It detailed the relationship between the father-and-son presidents and how they were fretful of what Trump had done to the Republican Party.
Furthermore, both ex-presidents admitted they did not vote for Trump. The elder Bush pulled the lever for Democrat Hillary Clinton while the younger told Updegrove he voted for “none of the above.”
“I don’t like him,” George Bush said in May 2016 according to a The New York Times on Saturday. “I don’t know much about him, but I know he’s a blowhard. And I’m not too excited about him being a leader.

1) For 8 years they were mute while Dear Leader tried to implement his own version of the Great Leap Forward to transform the US into Venezuela. That is unforgivable

I see Bush the elder as the one most responsible for overturning the Reagan Revolution and setting US on the path we’re on today.
In other words, the Bush legacy was all about removing the ugly Reagan stain from GOP history.
But Trump, on the other hand, is all about removing the odious progressive Bush, Clinton, obama stain from American history!
And ^that^ is why they don’t like him.

Sounds like Bush Sr. voted for Hillary but W voted ‘none of the above’.
In any case, both very, very disappointing. I devoted a lot of time, money and effort to help elect ‘W’ and I continued to donate to his Center (Library?). But, after his recent speech where he mentioned white supremacists but neglected to mention antifa and violence by black lives matter supporters, my faith, trust, etc in ‘W’ was shattered. imho, his speech was more of the same politically correct talk we hear from Dems, media, RINO’s. Thought ‘W’ was more courageous. Sad.
Most people felt that way then.

W turned out to be a coward, never defended himself, and now has totally adopted the mindset of his former enemies (who love him now that he’s attacking Trump).
I feel certain Bush#41 didn't write a word for this so called book...and as for Bush#43, he self destructed when he didn't stand up to Hussein O on his daily attacks against, the ‘BUSH'S FAULT’ sermons. GWB lost me totally over that..and it is sad, they drag out ‘poppy’ for photo ops. an aged man, in a stage of dementia.
That did it for me and Bush support..Jeb was a total failure as will be this new book..I have a lot of GWB books, that I can't even give away...even the small rural, local Library didn't want them...
And let's remember the GWB daughters also have a book coming out..wow, must be a lot of money in putting your name on a book cover..wink~wink.
