Miley Cyrus and the women writers of "The Tonight Show" penned real-time thank you letters to guest Hillary Clinton, and for six minutes, we all got to live vicariously.
If you’re a woman who loves Hillary Clinton, it’s pretty easy to feel erased.
We are treated to endless deep dives of the Trump voter: who are they, who wronged them, what is the specific nature of the anxiety that led them to vote for an ignorant embarrassment of a bigot.
If you supported Bernie Sanders in the primary, it was easy to find breathless articles extolling your existence: your youth, your optimism, the issues that drove you to be so passionate.
For Hillary Clinton voters, there was none of that. We were told over and over that we did not actually love our candidate. We chose her out of dispassionate pragmatism, or some commitment to incremental politics. We would have preferred someone less flawed, obviously, but she was what we had. We were “voting with our vaginas.”
But stubbornly, we continued to love her. We built secret communities on and off line where we could quietly praise her without interference.
On Election Day, we delivered the biggest gender gap in history for her.
After she lost, we got louder.
We take up more space.
Moments like the one that happened on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon (not exactly a venue I turn to for a sympathetic political ear) are frequent now. The women writers each came on, one at a time — and I had no idea Fallon had so many women writers! Good for him! — and penned Hillary a thank-you note, while she sat across from them.
The segment ended with Miley Cyrus coming out and beginning to cry before she hit the Hillary in “Dear Hillary.”

CYRUS: Thank you, Hillary, for being a constant beacon of strength, hope, and determination for me and millions of other young women. You’ve been a role model and an inspiration, and a voice of reason in uncertain times. I could go on and on, but I’d like to get right to the point. Can I give you a hug?
Hillary’s answer? “Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes.”
I live for these moments. Where women — and little girls, who haven’t been told that they aren’t supposed to love Hillary Clinton — get to meet her. Their joy is impossible to deny.
I tear up every time I see myself reflected in these women politely losing it just by being around her. It’s a wonderful catharsis to watch one of our own deliver the message right to her. “Thank you, Hillary” — the thing we all want to say.
Do you have her mixed up with Lena Dunham?
you don’t need to use “mixed up” and Lena Dunham in the same sentence.
Better yet “Do you think Hillary will take Trump’s place if he’s impeached?”
The same goes for the word “sow” I believe.
While she is technically nude there, you can’t see anything. And she basically has the figure of a 15 year old boy.
This literally makes me want to retch.
And that is why I didn’t even read the story when I saw the Beast eating up what this ignorant little s&&t had to say........the crying alone would have made me wanna blow chunks (I recall back to the day after the election when she was blubberin’ about Hell’s loss) but to have seen her asking for a hug and receiving one (I guess) would have sent me to the emergency room!!

I’m not sure that Miley isn’t gaming us all. If she’s following her Dad’s advice,,,, it’s “do whatever it takes to make as much as you can. Then retire to a beautiful farm/ranch and enjoy life.” That’s what he’s done. I have friends who know him, and say he’s a great guy. Fans are suckers! Take ‘em for all you can!

You are obviously not in the “entertainment” business. Billy was, and now he lives on an idyllic ranch, flying tail draggers and enjoying his early retirement. In a world full of Lady Gagas, you gotta compete! But then you can get out and leave all that behind you.
Miley is now identifying as a woman? Who knew?! I thought she was one of those creatures who did not relegate herself to one gender. Well, this IS news!
FWIW, I have thanked Hitlery many times - for being such an arrogant, entitled, lying, corrupt, sneering, condescending, thieving, witch that she didn’t stand a chance. That took a lifetime of criminal activity on her part.
I've watched dozens and dozens of similar videos over the past 11 months since Donald Trump was elected President ... and I laugh so hard and so long at the hysterics of the Left I ... well ... I just can't take much more! ('tho I'll continue to enjoy every new one that comes along!)

If Hillary were being properly investigated and put in jail, where she belongs, we wouldn’t have to have this crap. Come on Donald—one of the main reasons we elected you. WE are SICK of these criminals getting away with it. That includes Obama.
I guess it is your perspective. I for one see you all as hard to get out of the limelight for even a second. Constantly bloviating how wonderful the lying woman is so great, and how terrible President Trump is.

Well, they can “feel” erased even though they’re getting lots of attention, just as a man can “feel” like he’s a woman even though he’s not.
