Cuomo, Schneiderman slam Trump's 'cruel' plan to end DACA

Gov. Cuomo and State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman vowed Monday to make President Trump’s threat of deporting Dreamers into a political nightmare.

Trump is reportedly on the verge of ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program — but will delay enforcement of the revocation for six months to give time for Congress to act.

The program, known as DACA, protects some 800,000 immigrants who entered the country illegally as children from deportation. Roughly 42,000 New Yorkers are Dreamers.

“If he moves forward with this cruel action, New York State will sue to protect the 'dreamers' and the state's sovereign interest in the fair and equal application of the law,” Cuomo said.....

What law?

DACA was never past. Nor was it ever signed in to law.

Obama in usurpation of authority not his instructed the INS not to enforce immigration law as if DACA had been passed.

So if Trump instructs INS to stop enforcing DACA we will be returning to fair and equal application of the law.
