Normalcy among Democrats is Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and her voice scrambler, Kathy Griffin and her bloody head, and Hillary Clinton, the queen of denial.
Democrats have been enjoying the difficulty Republicans and the Trump administration have in governing, but their schadenfreude is worse than useless. Cheering the deaths of their enemies’ children is fun for people who are depraved, but it does not heal the hole in their own black hearts.
Democrats are sick and getting worse.
Emotionally, Democrats are disconnected from reality. Hillary Clinton in an interview blamed her election loss on a combination of Russian and Macedonian conspiracists with help from the FBI director and the DNC.
For all of her defiance, Clinton managed to stop short of suggesting violence. Comedian Kathy Griffin doesn’t have Clinton’s self-control. She proudly released images of her holding up President Trump’s severed head. According to the Trump family, 11-year-old Barron Trump saw the video and panicked, fearing that his father was dead. Griffin’s attempt at an apology made matters worse; she went into Clinton mode and blamed Trump and other old, white men for her bad decision.
Some liberals publicly condemned Griffin’s stunt, but that was an act of self-preservation, not true concern. Liberals have been calling for Trump’s death for months, and anti-GOP violence is no longer just an aberration.
Hillary Clinton and Kathy Griffin are the new Democratic normal. The new normal includes a movement known as the Resistance, a term stolen from the terrorist Palestinian Liberation Organization. Trump is the illegal occupier of Democrats’ holy land, and he must be stopped by any means necessary. Griffin may not be the most articulate messenger, but many Democrats have no problem with her message.
Democrats are in meltdown mode, their emotional composure in direct relation to their political coherence.
Republicans control not just the White House and both houses of Congress, but also two out of every three governors’ mansions. In half the states, they control both the governor’s mansion and the state legislature. Democrats dominate that way in only five states. The Supreme Court tilts right, with four conservative justices and a swing justice who leans that way. With Justice Ginsburg looking as frail as a snowflake, Trump could take the court solidly rightward for a generation.
Democrats are at their lowest ebb since the 1920s, openly hoping for a Depression-size disaster to usher in a return to the 1930s. The Democratic National Committee is in free-fall, and former chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz has taken to calling people on her Rolodex to talk dirty with her voice scrambler.
The Democrats are a mess. The strategy of doing nothing but obstruct often works in a midterm, but 2018 may be different. Twenty-five Democratic senators are up for reelection, while only nine GOP senators, many in deep red states, have to face the voters.
The solution is one that always works for Democrats, but has a taste for liberals as bitter as castor oil. Democrats need to abandon Basket-Case America and focus on Normal America. This will require that they become normal themselves. Rioting, screaming, and adopting the ISIS tactic of beheading people is just not normal.
Sadly for Democrats, it may just be who they are now. Hillary Clinton lost the election because she stood for nothing. In this vein, she accurately represented her constituency. Outside of hating Republicans, it is tough to discern what Democrats are for.
Decapitating Donald Trump on film may make them feel better, but it will not win over Normal America or return Democrats to the White House any time soon.

You are correct. Many low-info Democrats vote Democrat because their parents voted Democrat and their grandparents voted Democrat. It’s an automatic thing and they have NO clue what the party has become.

He left out the masked, black uniformed thugs, they and Griffin are the true face of the democrat party, and every right thinking person should hammer that home to everyone he or she knows.
The same could be said of the GOP. And then we could have a coalition of the relatively sane party components. However, it's very tough to get viable 3rd and 4th parties going in this country, so it won't happen any time soon.
I think we already have one. It’s the Trump party, and it took over the GOP.
In the future, I will never again vote for some spineless, lying political windbag. Trump speaks the truth. He’s teaching these Republican idiots in congress how to do it, but they’re too corrupt, stupid or set in their ways to listen. Instead, they’re doing everything they can to defeat or stall Trump’s success so they can bring the GOP back to the good old days of doing nothing while collecting their paychecks. They need to be defeated every bit as much as the vile Democrats.
