President Donald Trump had a busy schedule Wednesday but stayed out of the public eye and kept his tweets to a minimum.
Press secretary Sean Spicer emphasized Trumps support for the House Republicans bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Tonight, the president and first lady dined with Sen. Ted Cruz, his wife Heidi, and their two daughters. And Jon Huntsman may be the next ambassador to Russia.
Heres what you need to know.
Highlight of the day
Trump spent most of the day in private meetings. In the morning, he met with education activist Laurene Powell Jobs, who is Steve Jobs widow. White House officials said they discussed education and immigration issues.
Later in the day, Trump met with Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., to discuss prescription drug prices. Last month, Trump told reporters that Cummings had cancelled a meeting with the administration and speculated that Cummings might have been pressured to do so by Democratic leadership....

Obama made Hillary Secretary of State to punish her, and he did.
Tied the Arab Spring around her neck, and walked away.
Still, these games bother me
For a non-pol, Trump is acting like one, in certain ways...re giving Rudy’s son a job he doesn’t deserve, rumors ( who know if they’re true or not ) about certain ambassadorships and I’m NOT just talking about Huntsman.
Good to see a few wackos are left that don’t realize Cruz is helping Trump, Trump I think knows it unlike some

I'm fine with sending the RINO turd to Russia, as long as he's given a one-way ticket.
Meh, Huntsman could be fine for that job.
And if it keeps him from running for the Senate that’s great.
Trump lives and operates completely within a political world now. If he wants to have any chance at being successful, he's got to act politically at least sometimes. He has to nurture his political instincts, inasmuch as he can still remain true to himself and supporters.
I still can't imagine anyone who could get to Washington and be less of a pol than President Trump. It's neither practical nor realistic to expect otherwise.
Whether the President likes it or not, his new executive position is quite a bit more complicated and nuanced than just being a successful corporate CEO...
I was just playing with my earlier comment. Sorry if it came across as serious. I thought the “can you imagine” part acted as kind of a sarc tag. Looks like I’ll need to revisit how I post my non-literal comments in the future.
