A new Morning Consult poll shows national security is back at the forefront of voters’ minds following the mass shooting in Orlando that left dozens dead and injured.

In a national survey taken in the days after Omar Mateen’s attack on Pulse, a gay nightclub, almost three out of 10 voters (29 percent) said security was their top issue under consideration when casting their vote — a 10-point increase from a poll in early June. Maybe it’s normal but a little scary that little change their minds following events.

I don’t need a terror attack to know that Trump is better on security, I don’t forget the last attack, and I know there will be future attacks.

A lot of people don’t pay attention until there is some earth shattering headline.

The Bad thing, which is good for Trump, is that more attacks will CERTAINLY happen before the election.

It’s almost a mathematical certainty.

Last 3 Morning Consult polls were June 1-4, June 8-9 and June 15-20. Hillary has stayed at 42%. Trump's numbers were 39%, 37% and 40%.

So after what were supposed to be 2 awful, terrible weeks for Trump, his deficit has gone from 3% to 2%.
