Donald Trump has used tweets to insult women and ethnic groups, and to drive news cycles over everything from his late-night TV choices to his midday food options.
But he escalated his feud this morning with House Speaker Paul Ryan in a profound way, with implications and ramifications that extend far beyond November.
Paul Ryan said that I inherited something very special, the Republican Party, Trump wrote on Twitter. Wrong, I didn't inherit it, I won it with millions of voters!
On a basic level, Trump is right. He stands now as the presumptive Republican presidential nominee because of millions of the Republican Partys own voters, and in spite of, almost to a man and woman, the partys leadership.

Primary Ryan out!
No
The Republican Party is third party. Has been since they blew off the voters in 2010 and again in 2014 the others who put them into the majority in order to stop Obama the worst president known to man
The Republican Party put Trump where he is by fooling around with our country our laws our future our identity and our kids’ future. Our legacy.
The pundits can dream today of Ryan being equal to or in the same league with or in the same realm as Trump, but tomorrow we will see that it is the Republican Party that is third party by their own choosing by not considering the power and the will of the voters who give them power
They can join Trump or go away. He owes them nothing. We owe them nothing
damn the Republican party you RINO POS Ryan, how about battling for America like Trump is doing? Any DC politician who puts their political party and the ruling establishment before this country needs to be removed ASAP.
BS. The war is over, Ryan is on the side of the vanquished.
If you do not have your constituents, you do not have a party.
Dear Mr Trump:
Lyin’ Ryan works for me.
And she works for The Blaze.
As far as I can see, the “soul” of the republican party has been for many years, the neo-con artists and their open-borders toadies. In other words, the party had no soul, just greed and warmongering.
Paul Neuland has Juan made a statement that he supports Trump
The GOPee has no soul....
Well, I predict that this fact will make the difference.
The most voters in GOP history are going to put Donald Trump well over the top as the nominee. The most voters to EVER vote for any individual through the GOP Presidential Primary for president.
And they did in a field of 17 candidates.
Think about that.
There is a message being sent loud and clear and Ryan better heed it, or his opponent in his own GOP Primary who is proudly stating he will support Trump, may well upend the new speaker.

Mr. French for VP!
Little paulie is a miserable SOB.I wonder how he likes being the bumbers b!tch?
These folks don’t listen to millions of their constituents. Their ears are tuned to the few that provide the $$$.
The Cheap Labor Express is not going to just give up.
They have spent millions buying the GOP, they are not going to let the citizens just take it back.
If these are the two options, I am happier than ever that I left the GOP in 1990,
Paul who?? Just another GOPe POS loser.
