It's settled: The general election is going to be Hillary Clinton versus Donald Trump. Incredibly, Trump — with his zero political experience and against the active resistance of party elites, including the party's 2012 nominee — has sewn up his nomination first. On Tuesday Ted Cruz dropped out after losing the Indiana primary; John Kasich dropped out on Wednesday. It's over.
But Clinton, with more advantages than any non-incumbent frontrunner in generations, still can't manage to convincingly put away Bernie Sanders. He unexpectedly won the Indiana primary on Tuesday and may yet win several more before the convention. However, Sanders is far enough behind in the delegate count that it's virtually impossible for him to catch up. He's going to keep campaigning all the way to the election so as to keep pushing his agenda (and fundraising for some other Democrats), but the writing is on the wall.
So Clinton is pivoting to the general election — and is already looking to win some votes on the right, contacting likely Republicans and compiling ads of others bashing Trump. Several prominent conservatives have announced they'll be supporting her in November, and a lot more have signed on to the so-called #NeverTrump movement. It's a tempting move, to be sure. It's also a big mistake....

Either they are not conservatives, or they are the vengeful who won't vote for anyone less than perfect, on the basis that once we find out how bad things can get with liberalism, we'll finally see the light and start voting the way *they* want.
I'd say we've already seen that it gets pretty bad with liberals. It's time to support the conservative--even if he *is* an outsider.

It’s a TERRIFIC mistake. If the backstabbing GOP elite support hillary, it proves that the elite of both political parties share the same agenda. We can use that as a talking point to win over Sanders supporters, independents, and disgusted dems who are beginning to doubt hillary.

Not only does this show that the GOP-e are corrupt, it also tells Sanders’ idiotic supporters that she cares more about herself than about Marxism. This could result in many liberals staying home, or to vote Trump out of spite for Hitlery.
The author IS a far leftist Liberal. Anybody calling HRC “fairly conservative domestic record and hawkish foreign policy” has to be out there beyond the edges of sanity IF one considers sanity in the equation with Liberalism.

You can’t blame her for trying.
But anyone claiming to be conservative who supports her should stop calling themselves conservative. Trump wasn’t conservative enough — but Hillary is?!
