The snide comments began to roll in before the Republican frontrunner even finished his speech.
"The Donald can read!" one critic snarled.
"He just cut and pasted his pandering remarks," another sneered.
"Trump went an entire speech without making fart noises and for that he gets kudos," observed yet another.
In fact, most of the commentariat were dismissive of Donald Trump's speech before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee tonight. But just like journalists and pundits who were too contemptuous of Trump to see the strength of his insurgent campaign unfolding before their eyes, those mocking the candidate's teleprompter-aided talk tonight missed the story again.
What the ever-vexing Manhattan billionaire delivered in Washington was the first structured speech of his presidential campaign. He also answered critics who have continuously mocked the man for being short on policy and long on bluster, even if they were too clever to listen for his reply....

This is the same media that considers Obama brilliant and Hillary the smartest woman in the world
ABC Radio News started off one of their hourly newscasts last Friday with “We all know Donald Trump says outrageous things,” then played a sound bite from Gov. Klatch, or whatever his name is, condemning Trump for violence at his rallies.
But it’s all good when pOTUS relies on TOTUS to deliver a four minute speech to a group of 2nd graders.
I don’t give a flip what the Media says. They are a greater enemy than Islamofascism.
The answer is no.
The media's contempt towards Trump is an indication of their contempt of the American populace. Trump has risen due in large to their conduct as journalists.
I no longer care what the Ministry Of Propaganda does.
Most people recognize them for what they are.
This has been suspect for a very long time.
YOU HAD A HUNCH-
YOU HAD A HUNCH THE NEWS SYSTEM WAS RIGGED! YOU COULDN’T PUT YOUR FINGER ON IT, HUH?
THIS MIGHT SOLVE THE PUZZLE:
Image.jpeg Image.jpeg
ABC News executive producer, Ian Cameron, is married to Susan Rice, National Security Adviser.
Image.jpegImage.jpeg
CBS President, David Rhodes, is the brother of Ben Rhodes, Obama’s Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications.
Image.gif Image.jpeg
ABC News correspondent Claire Shipman is married to former Whitehouse Press Secretary Jay Carney.
Image.jpegImage.jpg
ABC News and Univision reporter, Matthew Jaffe, is married to Katie Hogan, Obama’s Deputy Press Secretary.
Image.jpegImage.jpeg
ABC President, Ben Sherwood, is the brother of Obama’s Special Adviser, Elizabeth Sherwood.
Image.jpegImage.jpeg
CNN President, Virginia Moseley, is married to former Hillary Clinton’s Deputy Secretary, Tom Nides.
And now you know why it is no surprise the media is in Obama’s pocket. Think there might be a little bias in the news? This may also explain the cover up of Benghazi , etc., etc, ad infinitum. Isn’t it interesting that every place you look in Obama’s administration, people fill positions because of who they know, not what they know or how competent they are. And you wonder why our country has so many problems!
THIS IS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE “GREAT CHICAGO WAY” ...... NEPOTISM AT ITS BEST. THE EASIEST WAY TO COVER YOUR LIES IS WITH FAMILY
And another thing...
Imagine if a Republican president had sold M-16s to Mexican drug lords The New York Times and Washington Post would have a front page story above the fold every single day until the president was impeached and removed from office.
With Obama...nothing.
I saw an article yesterday that said that 68 percent of those polled blamed the media for the violence at Trump’s rallies. Something like 59 percent of democrats, 66 percent of independents and 77 percent of republicans. It is rather disappointing to see that only 77 percent of republicans blamed the media, must be the #nevertrump crowd.
from Twitter, delegate breakdown, Kasich will need 118% of remaining delegates to clinch:
Briefly, no, they cannot, and Trump is banking on it. The media appear to be slow to grasp that a major part of the anti-establishment fervor that characterizes this campaign is directed at themselves. Suddenly growing respectful at this point would fool no one. And, to be precise, many of the media are happier in opposition anyway. It feeds their ridiculous pose of protecting America against the predations of the political class that they’re a part of but still fancy that no one has noticed. They miss that role, having failed utterly to exercise it under 0bama for the most sordid reasons imaginable. Under any Republican administration, the old game resumes, and what is threatening about Trump is the fear that just perhaps it doesn’t.
Great post Parmy. Trump has taken on the press head-on, but needs to be sending out information of the sort in your post rather than simply condemning the media with no details. He is 100% right about the dishonesty and bias of the press, but the average voter has no idea as to the extent of the blatantly incestuous relationship between media owners/managers/reporters and the dem party.
