Ted Cruz surge is identified, will win election, Republican Polls
Red State ^ | March 9, 2016 | Michael Harrington

I have performed some math showing Polls versus Results

Ted Cruz has been dominating the polls recently. Every time the polls say he is going to perform X, he outdoes them with two minor exceptions.

(GRAPH-AT-LINK)

As seen in the graphic above Ted Cruz has been outdoing the Republican Polls by 15% or higher on average. In two cases we could not identify how much higher because of lack of Polls, these are Hawaii and Maine. However an examination of his wins shows either an extreme bias in the polls, or that the vote is always breaking for one candidate when it comes time to pull the lever.

An example of some of the differences, these are how much higher Ted Cruz did in actual results above the polls (RCP Average, last month or so only used)

Idaho 26.40%
Mississippi 19.30%
Kansas 19.20%
Kentucky 16.70%
Oklahoma 14.10%
Alaska 12.40%
Louisiana 10.10%

I would say it is probably fair that if it was polled Maine would be in that list as well.

In a previous effort I identified that 33% of Democrats in S. Carolina voted in the Republican Primary. This trend in Open Primaries has continued unabated by all appearances. Ted Cruz continues to dominate in closed Primaries after all....

“Someone who has spent their entire working life in politics is establishment. That is Ted Cruz.”

A lie. Go read up on his bio, as he had two stints in private practice.

The worst I’ve ever said about Cruz is that his embracing of Beck’s endorsement was ill considered (stupid).

I will agree 100% on this point. Beck is a loon and one of Cruz's big mistake in the race if NOT the biggest.

You really ooze nastiness, especially when you post late at night. Kind of make me think of the granny in the movie “The Visit”

I know and you should smell my panties when I have one of those bouts.

The stench is overbearing and will hardly wash out. I have visited doctors and have used all kinds of douches but nothing seems to work

Can you recommend something that you have used in the past? Orally, possibly after a night on the town?

I actually still like Ted. But I don’t think he’s been “making good choices” as I tell my grand daughters each Monday before they get on the school bus.

We should ALL be against the conniving, lying GOP Establishment and their leaders regardless of our own personal anti-GOPe choices right now. I’ll be perfectly happy to vote for either one of Trump or Cruz. I wish I could say that for a few dozen people here.

So you actually think Trump can win states like California, New York, Massachusetts or New Jersey in the general election?

Florida, Ohio, and Texas will do...

It's not a lie. Lobbyists are also in "private practices". It doesn't mean they are not part of the machine. Cruz's stints in private practice were in Constituional law and absolutely within the beltway. Heck, just based upon his choice of focusing on Constitutional law means he has always planned to be part of the machine.

He's never had to worry about a P&L, never had to worry about hiring/firing, never had to work about making payroll, never had to deal with an irate customer or a deal where a customer tries to leverage future business against a current price break.

He's never really worked in the real world. And no, I don't consider two short stints in a law firm with a focus on Constitutional law where the clients were all being represented in GOVERNMENT issues, the REAL WORLD.

Parse it all you want. Ted Cruz is a lawyer who has spent his entire adult life acting in that capacity AND directly interfacing with the government. He CANNOT and HAS NOT bit the hand that feeds him.

Neil Bush, other Bush money men and having a team of political consultants made up of in the beltway insiders DEMONSTRATES, beyond any doubt, that Ted Cruz is indeed establishment.

That doesn't mean he's tried to fight the more obvious egregious efforts of his COLLEAGUES who sought a different path. He's a good conservative and has at least tried to reel back some of the efforts of the left. But...he's not willing to blow the whole damn thing up when its not working. Incrementalism, in this case, is nothing more than a drop of water into an ocean. It hasn't worked and won't work. And the American people, including Conservatives, see this and know, if we are going to pull back from the ledge of the abyss, doing so one inch at a time over the next 40 years....still leaves us next to the edge of the abyss.

“It’s not a lie. Lobbyists are also in “private practices”. “

so Trump’s many donations to politicians identifies him as a lobbyist so he is also part of the establishment.

You fell into that one, friend.

Are you dense? Lobbyists have to be REGISTERED. A simple donation doesn’t make someone a lobbyist. Look it up. Next?

nothing to see in that comment.

Donating money is a lobbying.

Next?

Are you trying to put Chinese trophy makers out of business or something? Jk. Devil’s advocate though; As a parent, you pay your $79 to get the kid into the league and eat a summers worth of chicken lip roller dogs to get that 3rd place dust collector. The kid is thrilled to walk up and get his trophy with his compatriots. It’s not all bad. When they play for keeps, only one team wins the Super Bowl. As it should be.

apparently you missed the list of Trumps contributions that were published on these boards today. very little financial support went to Democrats in the majority went to Republicans over the last several years.

Evidently you missed the first 40 years of his Political activities like hanging with the Clintons, Donating to their political campaigns, financing the Schumer, Reid, Pelosi? Openly supporting RAT policies?

Or maybe just choose to ignore it.
