Pro-Jeb Bush Super PAC Right to Rise has conducted an internal poll in SC that finds Donald Trump and Ted Cruz in an extremely tight race.
The results list Trump at 26 percent, and Cruz at 24 percent, with Bush and Marco Rubio coming in a distant third and fourth with 12 and 11 percent respectively, according to a report by Politico.
Right to Rise polling is now being conducted by South Carolina veteran political strategist Richard Quinn.
In the Politico report Quinn states: "This is clearly a tight, volatile race that could produce most any result over the next six days."
What's more is that Right to Rise has shown precision accuracy in their internal polls of late. On February 8th, just hours before the New Hampshire Primary, Right to Rise released a poll showing Bush rising to 12 percent and notching third place while Rubio fell to fifth.
The results were eerily similar as Bush just narrowly missed third place and 12 percent, and Rubio did indeed fall to fifth.
The most recent SC poll was conducted between Thursday and Saturday, which is interesting because it does not take the candidates' debate performances into account. Bearing that in mind, this primary race may be even more volatile than expected.
What's your freakin point? All I said was this is the same team to pull the red head feminist hoax leaking this "internal poll" without internals or methodology of any kind.
His sister is in her late 70s. Commonsense is rare.
Well, Jack Kennedy put his ne’er-do-well brother in as Attorney General.
Polls show Trump is even higher with "second" choicers, putting him up above 50 percent. If Trump were to drop out, Rubio would move into second. Ted Cruz has a very narrow appeal.
With Trump in the race, that is the only way Cruz stays in second, and at that, maybe not even for long.
I’m still surprised every day that Cruz people are not happy about Trump..
He’s doing all the blocking and tackling for Cruz and if he falls the field is clear for him..
Trump is in this to kill Jeb 1st.. Then the media, then we get our country back..
Cruz would be getting his a## handed to him by now if not for Trump.. all hail Jeb..
“... if Cruz did somehow beat Trump in SC he would become the front-runner in the minds of many.”
If Kasich/Bush/Rubio beat Trump they would become the front-runner in the minds of many.
“good news, and explains trumps meltdown.”
Which one?
The one that we were told was the beginning of end for his campaign.
Oh, wait.
You might be correct. The voters will tell us. One thing is not in doubt — this is the most interesting & consequential POTUS contest since Reagan vs. Carter in 1980.
