Ok Freepers, put down the Trump/Cruz bats for a minute and consider this.
According to polling a plurality of Iowa voters are either undecided or soft in their support for any candidate.
Religious voters play a significant role in Iowa politics.
Religious voters have demonstrated in the past a distaste for candidate who engage in the bare knuckle politics Cruz/Trump have recently engaged in.
Historically polling in Iowa has been rather in accurate. Iowa almost always produces a surprise result.
Rubio has gone full out of for the religious votes. His ads spend a lot of time with him talking about his religious faith. His stump speechs spend a lot of time on his faith
Team Cruz switched from targeting Trump to going after Rubio today.
Rubio picked the wrong week to give up 5 Hour Energy Shots?
That’s easy. Trump will immediately unleash a furious torrent of ad hominum attacks and insults on Rubio.
What happens if Rubio wins Iowa?

And then FOX declares Rubio the winner for a surprise 3rd place finish...lol

Rubio would be a wonderful nominee as well, if different from Cruz. Either way conservatism is ahead, with strong young leaders at the top who fly in the face of the Manhattan oligarchy and their attempt to captivate the weak-minded on the left and the right.
Establishment has their nose under the tent just as JIM has been warning us: Stop the bickering between Cruz and Trump and target the establishment.

Trump will win Iowa by a bit more...2nd place may go to Rubio...but Cruz may eek 2nd.
What would happen?
FR would be united for a few days while we all attacked Rubio.
I think Trump Rubio is a winning ticket
Trump gets to school the lazy inexperienced Senator to be an effective team leader and achiever ( like his kids)
The establishment gets a guy who knows his way to the Senate Chamber
The media gets a pretty Latino face
Rubio gets to be president in 4-8 years when he rides trumps coat tails into salvaging this economy and our national pride and reputation
He could finish second, but I don’t think so. For all the hype about Cruz’s “ground game,” there has been nothing about Rubio’s.
If that happens I will be very sad. Ultimately, if Cruz is failing then I probably would support Rubio to stop Trump who I do not like or trust even a tiny little bit.
