ccording to the transcript of Donald Trump's interview with Scott Pelley on 60 Minutes, Mr. Trump favors a single payer health care plan in certain situations. During the interview, Pelley asked Mr. Trump what his plan was to replace Obamacare would look like. Mr. Trump responded, saying "I am going to take care of everybody. I donât care if it costs me votes or not. Everybodyâs going to be taken care of much better than theyâre taken care of now." When Pelley pressed Mr. Trump further about who would pay for this coverage, Mr. Trump said "the governmentâs gonna pay for it."

Deflection to try to change the subject does not take away from the original subject or issue.
And THEN STOP!!~!
Well then maybe not.
Maybe I misinterpreted what you said. But I think I agree that this is a ridiculously emotionally charged subject with people advocating for or against two extreme positions, neither of which represent a good final solution.
But that is not really what this entire thread is about, in part.
What is being argued, is who needs to win the rapidly approaching election.
It will get even more wound up, before we get to vote.
Hang in there. :D
Trump pretty clearly was only referring to the guv paying for those who can’t afford it—as is presently done with Medicaid.

So the “middle class” wouldn’t have THEIR insurance premiums paid for by “the government” (also know as “other people’s money” or the taxpayers) but the “middle class” will be stuck with THEIR premiums having skyrocketed?
Do I fight the Cruz trolls who come onto Trump threads to disturb and disrupt them?
You bet I do! I used to ignore most of the posts made by them, but that didn't stop them,so now I fight back.
OTOH, I usually don't post to Cruz threads, but now I do, because I'm fighting fire with fire.
And as far as ignoring my posts....please do; you just might learn something from many of them, but we wouldn't want that, now would we. :-)
How is everybodys got to be covered and the government’s gonna pay for it not an expansion of government?
I think some can square this circle, but not in any logical, objective fashion. I’ve posted quotes, I suppose you’ve read or listened to the interview, I assume you’re aware of Trumps previous statements.. and I don’t see an effective rebuttal from you here. Insults a-plenty, but no real coherent argument on the points.
thanks for your discussion.
Not until, you and your ilk do !
romney was bad for romneycare. Trump and singlepayer, whatever...obama has won
Exactly so !
I’m personally more concerned about who gets to appoint the next Supremes right now than I am about healthcare. It would be an absolute for Christians to have a 7-2 secular court that was openly hostile to my faith.
If you think the Oregon decision to the photographers and bakers were bad, just wait until those decisions become federal jurisdiction running roughshod over state jurisdiction.
