(CNN)Donald Trump is still the GOP front-runner in opinion polls, but Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has seen a surge on CNN's Political Prediction Market, and is now seen by players as more likely than the billionaire businessman to be the Republican nominee.
Cruz's odds -- which stand at 21% -- are greater than Trump's 20% odds for the first time, according to the Political Prediction Market, a live, online game, conducted by the company Pivit for CNN. It uses polling data and input from its 25,000 users to predict outcomes.
Movement on the Political Prediction Market has clearly been affected by Cruz's improved standing in some polls, particularly in Iowa. In a recent Quinnipiac University poll released Tuesday, Trump remained first in Iowa with 25%, but Cruz edged Ben Carson out for second with 23% support. The game does not measure the support of players, but instead has players predict who they think will come out on top.

Hmmm.
Cruz To The Win
Obviously, Ted Cruz is the next one being used by the GOP-E to try to bring down Trump.

And they use a combination of Science! and Numbahs! to calkoolate a winnah!
and is now seen by players as more likely than the billionaire businessman to be the Republican nominee.
I’ll take Cruz. Trump is making Cruz more palatable than he was months earlier, when the GOPe on Capitol Hill were saying how much they disliked Cruz. However, the establishment has decided that Trump is a bigger threat to their power base.
This is in one key state, right? Iowa.
Trump implodes and leaves the race, I bet, and all the South falls away from Trump, and Trump fails in Florida, and hell freezes over. /snark
If Trump’s mouth does not take him out, will be so much fun watching Mr. Cruz do it for him. Sorry, sick to death of Trump’s whining, and carrying on. Still 2 months out from first vote, all kinds of things can happen.
Yep, Rita, you have that just about right. Looking forward to it.
Trump is more obnoxious than Bambi with the whining and has changed his positions more than all other GOP candidates combined.
Didn’t click to check on the game, but Cruz has the best grassroots organization throughout the counties of Iowa, so I expect him to do well.
And if he does then they will take out Cruz and slow Jeb will slide in there like he always knew it was going to happen.
The big military/industrial complex can’t let Trump in - they’ve had their way with us and won’t let it stop. It will take a miracle to buck them.
No more Bushes or Clintons...or any other establishment goons...I HOPE!
The mind is a funny thing. Say it enough andpretty soon, you;ll believe it and react accordingly. Kinda like the Florida cr**...the blackboard media dude.
A different sort of predictive method
He belongs as AG until there’s an opening in the USSC. He’s a legal beagle...and best msn for the AG job....and he knows it.
Well, I guess Plan A is still operative: âTrump implodes and then candidate X steps in.â
There is no Plan B. So apparently the race is Trumpâs to lose. Well, thereâs nothing in Trumpâs past to indicate that he would just give up.
I like Cruz. Iâd vote for Cruz. But itâs wishful thinking to wait around for Trump to âimplodeâ.
I doubt that one can find that âstrategyâ in The Art of War. “Wait for the enemy to surrender.” LOL!
I dunno, lu. I think a couple of things.
Mostly, that apparent to most is that Trump whines against what we want whined about, which explains why Trump is at 38%, and your guy has “surged” out of single digits, to 12.
What is a given, is that Trump’s whining runs a distant third to yours.
But not to worry.... you’ve got great company in your whining, in the lefty media and the GOPee + donor class.
