The approximately 40-member House Freedom Caucus is at the center of turmoil within the Republican Party over who will be the party's effective leader in the House ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
A group of hard-line conservative Republicans would "look favorably" on Paul Ryan if he ran to be speaker of the House of Representatives, the group's leader said on Sunday.

Paul Ryan works with his good friend Luis Gutierrez to push amnesty. Gutierrez is an advocate and spokesman for the Puerto Rican terrorist group FALN, responsible for over a hundred bombings and nine deaths on American soil.

You gotta read between lines. I never said Ryan is my first or 2nd or 3rd choice. I said Ryan is OK. When my wife asks me how is the Lasagna (which I do not like) I will reply “dear, Lasagna is OK”.
If the 40 member caucus of conservatives in House says Ryan is OK, then by golly Ryan is Ok with me.
Anything that rids traditional conservatism of the new breed of liberal idiocy and their heroes works for me. If Monty Python names it, I’m fine with it.

My first choice is not Paul Ryan. Because my number 1 issue is amnesty. But Ryan has been better on fiscal issues. So he is OK, meaning barely acceptable. If I had the power to anoint the Speaker, it would be Rep. Gohmert. But I can not vote for Speaker, so it matters little.
I can tell you pretty definitively that Trey Gowdy is not going to go for Speaker.

There’s 40 strong conservatives- but 140 strong RINOs who will not vote for a conservative Speaker.
The idea of getting a conservative Speaker is pure fantasy (though a pleasant thought).
So the conservatives are after other compromises from the RINOs:

They are seeking other pledges as well, including a move to impeach the director of the Internal Revenue Service and a commitment to not give in and accept any stopgap spending bill if Senate Democrats block regular spending measures...”

That’s the problem. He’s NOT a moron. That is why it is so disturbing that Ryan is teaming up Obama and Gutierrez to ruin our nation through an open borders policy. I’ll never know why he chooses to be a traitor.
