Miss Alabama Meg McGuffin finished as the Fourth Runner Up in the Miss America 2016 pageant tonight.
But she may have landed first in the hearts of those who are sick and tired of Donald Trump. McGuffin said Trump is an "entertainer" and that Republicans should be "terrified" by the possibility of having him as President of the United States.
McGuffin, Miss Alabama 2015 had a few choice words about Donald Trump as she competed for the 2016 Miss America Competition crown.
Miss America judge Taya Kyle, widow of US Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, asked McGuffin the following on stage question: "According to a poll released this week, Donald Trump is leading Republican candidates by 32% of the vote. Why do you think he is leading by such an overwhelming margin?"
Miss Alabama's answer: "I think Donald Trump is an entertainer and I think he says what's on a lot of peoples' minds, but I think the Republican party should be absolutely terrified of all the attention that he is taking from incredible candidates like Jeb Bush and Chris Christie who could absolutely do the job of President of the United States....

We moved from California to a rural town west of Knoxville 6 years ago. It’s still very much like that here. On work days there’s normal traffic in town — can get through an intersection at the first stoplight change. But watch out for Sunday mornings when all the Baptists (of which I’m one) are getting out of the various churches! Yesterday we waited through four signal changes to get through just the first intersection. From 10 a.m. to noon, though: Ghost town.
But if we go 30 minutes east toward Knoxville/Farragut, or north to Oak Ridge, the people are more “citified” and California-esque. We’re glad we chose this specific area which is still Bible Belt.
