If you had to vote in your state primary/caucus today, knowing what you know now about the various declared and probable candidates, who would you vote for? Why? Who would you like to see as the running mate for your preferred candidate? If you could help staff your candidates cabinet and other top appointments, who would you choose? If you could recommend different congressional leaders than we have now, who would they be? And who would you like to see on the Supreme Court and why? And finally, feel free to donate to Free Republic.

1. Cruz: because he’s a true conservative who fights
2. Trump: because he fights back and anyone’s better than Hillary.
3. Scott Walker: because Sarah Palin gave him a decent review

Cruz.
Solid Constitutional conservative.
Brilliant intellect.
Doesn’t run from a fight-—rather, eviscerates the person who started it, and does so coolly, sharply, and with class.

Ted. My only caveat is his desire to make LEGAL immigration easier. That too is killing America, IMO.

Ted Cruz is my only choice. Donald Trump is giving liberals of both parties fits, and I like it. But I just don't see him staying in the race. The others all have something about them that makes me reject them immediately. There is no perfect candidate, but Ted Cruz comes the closest to me.
If Ted Cruz does not win the Republican nomination, I will write in his name. I feel that strongly.

If you had to vote in your state primary/caucus today, knowing what you know now about the various declared and probable candidates, who would you vote for? Why? Ted Cruz. He's a conservative. He's proved it. He won elections where he was a major underdog. He has a ground game forming and doing the work necessary to win.
Who would you like to see as the running mate for your preferred candidate?
Scott Walker.
If you could help staff your candidates cabinet and other top appointments, who would you choose?
Not sure yet. Someone pro-2nd Amendment as AG. John Kasich at treasury.
If you could recommend different congressional leaders than we have now, who would they be?
Mike Lee as Senate Majority Leader. Trey Gowdy as house majority leader.
And who would you like to see on the Supreme Court and why?
Alex Kozinski.
