The rapid rise of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker as a top-tier contender for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016 is one of the more surprising stories of the opening months of this year. Whether he was prepared for this sudden emergence is an open question.

I used to think Dan Balz was the more moderate liberal. I think he is just hanging on to the WaPo/NYT line of thinking here.
Walker has proven himself to be a fighter in Wisconsin. That is the one quality I admire the most. He refused to give in to immense pressure from unions. I have hopes, if elected,, he will keep that stiff spine in DC.
I have noticed, the left is having heckuva hard time attacking Walker on specific issues. Every major issue in Wisconsin has improved, such as jobs in private sector, tax levels, state budgets.
The left can not call Walker an Extreme right wing politician. That may be his strength. All the hit pieces will be vague generalities.
And he has done a great job of refusing to answer the “gotcha questions.” They can’t stand it because they know where he stands on faith and on whether Ubama is patriotic and loves his country. HE no only doesn’t answer, he makes them look small in the manner of his refusal.

didnt Wisconsin Democrats flee the state to avoid a vote?..this guys got the stuff, i’m convinced. He’ll be more than prepared to start tearing into the Obama phone noin sense...food stamps gone wild, it’ll be a sight to see. Th leeches will go berserk.
And...............I am convinced Walker is correct when he says the immigration issue needs to be “FIXED”. Some call it amnesty. Even Ted Cruz, whom I admire a lot, is against mass deportations. Some shallow thinkers will call that is also amnesty. Nowhere I heard Walker wants to give blanket amnesty ala Ronald Reagan. I hear Walker is for amnesty mainly from die hard Cruz supporters. Then I mention about Cruz also will not deport illegals, they just whimper with lame retorts.
Then Walker's enemies need to read Free Republic!
