Jeb Bush and Scott Walker are alone in the top tier of potential 2016 Republican presidential candidates in the latest Sabato Crystal Ball/University of Virginia Center for Politics rankings.
Bush, the former Florida governor, appears to the overwhelming Republican establishment favorite now that 2012 presidential nominee Mitt Romney is not running. Walker, the governor of Wisconsin, did well at the January 24 Iowa Freedom Summit and is seen as having appeal to both mainstream and more conservative Republicans.
Bushs advantages include a built-in network of donors and supporters he inherits from his father and brother. But, the center noted, Bush fatigue is real.
Walker, it found, is getting serious attention and early momentum. But he needs to raise mountains of $ and early peaking will open him up to attacks from others.(continued)

Bush / Clinton 2016!
Clinton / Bush 2020!
Uniparty Rules!
If: Bush
Then: No Vote
If: Walker
Then: Vote
Any ticket with Bush on it is dead in the water.
Bush really is not in the top tier. Its still media hype with him. Pure media hype.
The MSM will continue to represent Bush as a serious contender for ‘16 long after he becomes dead candidate walking.
Jeb doesn’t interest us at all (especially with his Jobs for More Immigrants proposal). Some 40,000,000 Americans have lost their jobs in the least 5 years, this is NOT a time to be proposing to give more jobs to illegal immigrants. Couldn’t be a worse time, in fact.... shows what can only be termed a “gross contempt” for American workers
Walker maybe has some promise, we will start watching for his statements more....
Two words: Terri Scahivo. I will never vote for Jeb. NEVER.
Agreed Diana. If the election were between Jeb and SATAN I would STILL not vote for Jeb.
We can NEVER forget her! You or I could be in that bed, disabled and with the CONSENT of the Governor of our State, our SELFISH spouse could pull the plug on us - even though our parents were willing to care for us.
I can’t believe the pain she suffered - being starved and dehydrated to DEATH.
I know I sound like a one-note wonder, but it is what it is. When ONE of us is found to be ‘disposable’ we are ALL disposable - and that is JUST what the Left wants and that is JUST what Jeb ALLOWED.
FUJB!
Bush fatigue is real.
Not only is it real, but it defeated the Republicans in 2008 AND in 2012. Obama used ‘blame Bush’ every effectively. The next Dem nominee will continue to do the same.
Bush fatigue is real. It will cause the Republicans to lose again in 2016, if they push Jeb on us as their nominee.
So that’s a no vs Hillary.
This is beginning to look like the DemonCrap contest in 2008 with the drained and tired Witch vs. the young and faux charismatic Obola. Jebbie is looking more and more like the Witch.
Jebbie and Walker is like choosing in 1964 between Rockefeller and Scranton.
In fact, I will vote on the first day of early voting for the Constitution Party so I can’t be impressed to follow the line that we need Jebbie to save the country.
no more bushes...
not now..
not ever...
the two people that would most please the conservative/small l libertarian base???
sarah palin and scott walker...
put the two of them in a room, and do not let them out until they determine top/bottom of ticket..
anything else is hillary for president
Yes the MSM/Establishment will keep shoving him down our throats and in return we will despise them all even more.
“early peaking will open him up to attacks from others.
This. Walker is going to have a tough time staying in this position. Ask Michelle Bachmann, Rick Perry, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum. Cruz will be smart to stay under the radar until after Labor Day when he’ll have the chance to defend himself.
