Senator Ted Cruz (R., Texas) may be the brightest light to adorn the Republican party in many years. He knows how to make the case for conservative ideas, pointing, for example, to the contrasting fates of Detroit and Houston to illustrate the superiority of conservative policies. So its particularly galling to see that rather than train his fire at Obama and the liberal machine that cocoons him, Cruz has become a one-man wrecking ball against Republicans. His most recent foray into sabotaging his colleagues concerned the debt-limit increase.
Because Speaker Boehner sent over a clean debt-limit bill, Republican senators had decided to let it pass with only Democratic votes. Republicans would not be endorsing the Democrats spending priorities, but neither would they be opening themselves to the accusation of flirting with national default. With Obamas political fortunes sinking and several red state Democratic senators in jeopardy, Republicans have a good chance to retake the Senate in November unless they fall into civil war....

The GOPe is not our side.
isn't that special
If this isn’t a coordinated effort, then it’s a severe case of “monkey see, monkey do,” or is it, “monkey see, monkey doo-doo”?
Of course he’s doing more damage than the democrats. The democrats don’t want to see their boot licking GOPe pets harmed.
It sure seems like the call went out this week to go after Cruz. At least it brings the Quislings out into the open
The Rats in Republican clothing in the Senate have been working hard to undermine Cruz long before the debt ceiling vote.
Wow. Guess I was wrong about Noonan being next.
What a week. First it was Thomas Sowell blasting away at Sen. Cruz. Then Ann Coulter. Now its Mona Charen?
Good. Now we know who’s clearly in the RINO camp.
Go Ted Go!
If Mona doesn’t like what he’s doing, he must be doing something right!
Smells like the latter and FR needs an enema. There's a sudden surge of concern trolls citing Lib rags deeply concerned about Tea Party conservatives attacking Cornyn, McConnel, Cochran...et al.
This is opening up wagering opportunities on who’s shockingly next!
lolol.
Don’t worry. She’ll be along directly.
Around here, too...
And I’ve boycotted NRO since the Steyn thing, anyway.
It makes a very convenient litmus test. You see GOP going after Palin, and going after the “tea party”, and they stand exposed.
Now Cruz. Do you want to know who is prepared to sell you out to the obamists? Its not hard to tell now that they are exposing themselves yet again. These faux-conservatives will talk a good game but in the clinch they will slip it between your ribs every time.
You know you are on target when you start getting the flack!
I think of the GOP as a person with stage four cancer. The cancer is liberalism. And Cruz as Chemotherapy. Yeah, it appears to be doing more damage than the cancer, but sometimes you get worse before you get better.
But to be honest, once you get stage four, funeral arrangements are the best use of your time.
