Texas gubernatorial hopeful Wendy Davis brushed off criticism about her life story from Bristol Palin, saying that nothing Palin accused her of was true.
Davis was responding to a blog post from the daughter of former Gov. Sarah Palin, who wrote last week amid questions about the timeline of Davis’s personal biography, slamming her for allegedly leaving her kids behind with her ex-husband after finishing law school.
“Gosh, children are sooo inconvenient, huh? I’m glad my mother didn’t put motherhood on the shelf when she was elected to City Council, then became our mayor, then governor,” Palin wrote, addressing her comments to liberals. “I know you would rather think about Wendy Davis, so let’s get back to her. She’s more your type of woman. She left her kid, husband, made it into a false ‘made-for-tv-movie-type tale’ and then demanded that Texans have the right to kill babies. That’s the woman you libs can really get behind!”(continued)

Davis might be a Harvard grad with a multi-million dollar campaign war chest, but her run is starting to resemble Christine O’Donnell’s / Sharron Angle’s. Very, very tone-deaf.
Not me. I want her to continue the campaign to the bitter end and drag as many jackasses down ticket to defeat with her as possible.
What an idiot, saying that she (Davis) will always be the most important woman in her daughters’ lives. Just taking that gift for granted shows her to be arrogant beyond belief, but it probably also means she is a liar.

I think Wendy would have had a better shot at a Senate seat.
The national MSM doesn’t get as excited about state offices. If they could get her to Wash DC, they would be ecstatic.

Fair is fair. Palin took the first shot. This might wind up being a Twitter flame war between the two. I don't know about you but I'm going to start the popcorn. It might get good.

Don’t at all be surprised when Bristol runs for statewide or national office in the future.
Can you imagine how mad the liberals will be when Sarah is President of the United States and Bristol is in the US Senate?
It’s pretty obvious that Davis has killed at least one of her offspring and is spending the rest of her life trying to justify that murder.
In the end, it is just another brutal attack on the Palin family, who are doing nothing except attempting to raise their families in private outside of the public view.
Here's what Davis said:
"With all due respect to Ms. Palin, of course, nothing that was said in that tweet is true. I’m very proud of the mother I have been to my daughters. I have always been and will always be the most important female in their lives. They are the most important thing to me and I’m very proud I’ve been able to be a role model, a friend, a mother to these two beautiful girls I’ve raised."
Davis shouldn't have responded to Palin at all, but it's hard to call that a "brutal attack on the Palin family," or even an "attack" whatsoever.

The odds are much higher of it being Hillary and Chels.
Whereas she should be living the rest of her life in penitence for that baby and helping other young girls NOT make the mistake. Too many old ladies are doubling down on their dead babies, not trying to make things right.
A general rule of public relations is to ignore those below you, lest you elevate them and give them a podium, which Senator Davis has done here. If I blog about Wendy Davis should she respond to me, too? Miss Bristol Palin has never been elected to office that I’m aware of. Will she respond to a tweet or post from Piper, I wonder?

She’s been lied to like most of us - “God will never forgive you for that”. But, that’s a lie.
They’re rather like alcoholics, trying to make sure everyone else in the room is drunk, too, in order to not be the one in the wrong.
