The United States is not a carcass to be colligially divided between the good yotes and the bad yotes.

Huckabee began by saying that Boehner was not scolding the tea party movement but conservative groups that capitalize on that movement.

There is a problem with conservative groups supporting the TEA Party?

At the very heart of self-governance is the ability to, first, be able to govern...the self. Bringing one’s desires, passions, thoughts, tendencies, weaknesses under control. In creating such a form of government, the Founders understood this. As many of them were either christian or well aware of the biblical understanding of this concept, they were also aware that this is not [totally] possible (our natures are tainted by sin) and that in order for a people to be self-governing, they would have to be God-relying. They would be a people willing to humble themselves under the mighty hand of God that, in due time, they would be exalted. They would at least need to be conscious of the correctness of the biblical view of human nature. Sadly, this is not the case any longer.

Apart from a christian perspective of this...apart from a biblical understanding of the propensities of the flesh and its tendencies toward sin, self-governance is impossible. The target (self-control/self-governance) will shift and shift some more until SELF is in charge (and not under control). So, yes, split hairs about the separation of church and state. Divorce religion from politics. Ignore the understanding that those early fathers set in motion at our nation’s founding. But once, done, do not wonder why we are the way we are.

‘Politics Is Not Theology’

Well governor, if you listen to 0bama, Reid, Pelosi, and others in the democRAT party, you would rightly conclude that politics is a religion.

That big-tent-Dem-lite hasn’t worked so well and you professional politicians keep dissing the conservative base/Tea Party faction.

That doesn’t seem to be such a winning strategy.

If it were not for the Tea Party/conservatives of 2010, the Republicans wouldn’t even have a majority in the House.

Huck, how come Republican Grand Compromises inevitably take America a little further to the Left each time?

Answer that question, and you will understand why the time has come for a little old time fire and brimstone religion on spending restraint.

The MSM made the same accusations about Ronald Reagan, and he is literally the only political figure in the last eighty years who succeeded in pushing the pendulum a little bit back toward the Right...for a while.

I’ve always been suspicious of Huckabee...
Never knew why... seemed fake, and I couldn’t put my finger on it.

This answers it.

I never liked Huckabee from day one. Not surprised by this, and who listens to him anyway?

FOX turns to Huck for a fair-and-balanced analysis of Boner’s (GOPe) attack on the Tea Party. I’m shocked at his defense of Boner (GOPe). Shocked, I tell you.

Yes, heard Huckabee doing his "Why can't we all just get along" and "stop calling names because it is uncivil" SHTICK on FOX, nearly blew groceries and hurriedly changed the channel.

The "powers that be" = DemocRAT and Republican just want us all to shut up, pull down our shorts, bend over and take what they want to force upon us from ObamaDEATHcontrol to ILLEGAL ALIEN AMNESTY, to the CARPET BAGGING, ANTI-GUN, RINO Scott Brown running for the NH Senate seat to "Fill in the blank." The whole lot of them are nefarious From Obamessiah to Bonier and can not be trusted. They do not care about America, they do not care about representing their constituents or the American CITIZENS. All they care about is maintaining THEIR POWER and THEIR POSITION and THEIR AGENDA.

Huckabee is just a shill for all of the above, hiding behind an "aw shucks" façade.

In spite of some of his flaws, boy do I miss Glen Beck on FOX. At least he had the guts to present the TRUTH without compromising his conservative principles.
