Chris Mathews to Charlie Rose: Republicans see all non-Americans as evil

Posted on 10/07/2012 9:02:45 AM PDT by Milagros

Charlie Rose - Chris Matthews - Chris Matthews of NBC and MSNBC on the Presidential Debate, Oct. 4, 2012.
There is no transcript available yet, but I saw/heard him telling Charlie along the lines that Obama's "advantage" over the Republicans (which he should make use of) is because Rep. view is that we Americans are right and everybody else is wrong... He did utter the words that Rep. believe that the (all the) 'other' (including Europeans) are evil.
I hope I am forgiven for (even) watching Charlie Rose... But I like to be informed what the other side says... And No (unlike Chris Mathews' statement) I di not call (Europeans and others, ir even any) liberal left as "evil."... Just twisted misguided...

A Landslide Mandate For Change

A breakthrough election
Congratulations on an extraordinary history making election!

We can think back with pride to decades of hard work toward our strategic goal of a big enough, broad enough and united enough labor and all-people’s movement that could overcome the ultra-right blockage to all progress. That all people’s movement has come to life, it is dynamic and it has the potential to keep growing.

The election of Barack Obama and a strengthened Congress creates new conditions in our country. There is now the possibility to shift gears and move forward. This new day requires us to further develop our tactics in order to continue to deepen and broaden labor and people’s unity.

There are thousands of experiences that we all have had in these momentous days, some large, some small, all of which express the enormity of change in thinking and readiness for involvement that is underway and that steels us for the battles ahead.

The tears of joy we all shared as crowds gathered to watch the election results here and throughout the world dramatize the new moment we are in.

Whereas leftists see America as the only evil in the world and Obama is making sure we are the globe’s redhead stepchild.

Here’s a good article on how successful the foreigners within have been via Obama:

No. Democrats see all Republicans as evil. That’s much worse, besides being infantile.

Can’t understand how a guy like Chrissy could have survived on TV for that long.

It just shows how inept and screwed up we as a nation have become to even give him credibility.

Che flag sends 'disturbing' message about Obama
Candidate attracts 'people who think mass murderers are romantic revolutionaries'

February 13, 2008
© 2008 WorldNetDaily

The Fox TV affiliate in Houston has captured images of a volunteer in a campaign office for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama working in front of a flag featuring the image of Che Guevara, the South American revolutionary who became Fidel Castro's executioner after the communist takeover in Cuba.

And while the Obama campaign has issued a statement placing a modest distance between the campaign and its "volunteers," the issue of such an image on display in an office operating on behalf of a man hoping to be commander in chief of the world's last remaining superpower is raising alarms.

Even Obama supporters have been forced into corners because of the issue, with one likening the Texas state Republican Party to Guevara, to whom have been attributed hundreds of executions of anti-Castro leaders.

Under the heading "Barack Guevara," Investor's Business Daily raised some of the more pointed questions, to which the campaign responded only with a statement: "The office featured in this video is funded by volunteers of the Barack Obama Campaign and is not an official headquarters for his campaign. ..."

“is because Rep. view is that we Americans are right and everybody else is wrong...”

Chris Matthew’s anti-patriotic message contains an “Inconvenient Truth” for Obama’s campaign. As a Democrat, Matthews naturally assumes that Republican views are the mirror image of his own. It is implicit in his statement that he, like his inamorata, believes America is always wrong and the rest of the world is always right. Neither simplistic view stands up well against reality.

But, both of them love nothing better than to set up a feeble chimera that they can heroically trounce, mano-a- strawo. Funny how their prowess fades with flesh and blood opponents.

Somewhere back in the Clinton era the 'rats picked up this drugstore-paperback concept of "the other" as a generalized object of fear and antipathy. It certainly fits their own world view, but they should cease projecting it onto the rest of us.

I would really like Charles (Krauthammer) or Bill (Oreilly) to hammer him on these outrageous words.

Our media elite only communicate with themselves and can not understand why they don't control the ‘little’ people that they claim to be informing. It's a case of self gettoization.
