We are all supposed to recognize the futility in Mitt Romney's disastrous bid to replace Barack Obama as commander in chief.
But where is the brilliance in the Obama campaign?
The past three weeks have each been, successively, Romney's worst. Aside from firing without aim about foreign policysomething a challenger to President Obama shoulldn't even have the gall to doand then pointing out that 47% of Americans don't pay taxes (hate speech, really), Romney has generally shown that he is unfit for the Oval Office.
Romney, in fact, is running one of the worst campaigns a politician has ever run.
Or so say the mainstream media.
Republicans grade their candidates on a tough curve, but the Left and their media allies will never assign anything less than a failure to anyone who challenges them.
Meanwhile, they ignore the utterly disappointing and ridiculous campaign waged by Obama to keep his job.
First, the sitting president of the United States has barely been able to keep up with his challenger in fundraising. Obama outpaced Romney in August, breaking a three-month streak for GOP nominee. The much-ballyhooed billion-dollar campaign has failed to materialize, and the RNC has ten times the amount of cash on hand as its Democratic counterpart.
Second, Obama won almost ten million more votes than his opponent in 2008. That's a huge advantage that has somehow evaporated. Right now the polls show a dead heat. So the man of Hope and Change, who would "restore the American dream" has managed to lose the confidence of ten million Americans. That's almost as many jobs as he's lost.
Nevertheless, we are supposed to believe that "Forward" is a well-oiled machine firing on all cylinders....

Obama campaign has been airing ads on national cable which attack Romney with a big lie at the end. BIG lie.
Romney, in fact, is running one of the worst campaigns a politician has ever run....
Wrong... second worst. McCain in 2008 holds that title.
I expect Romney to squirrel away his campaign money for a run at some other public office. This, in my opinion, is what McLame did in 2008.
That is if they are not slaves to the root of all evil.
Not being a Mormon myself, I don't know what importance they have for that scripture.
What ever. Pray!
The worst [alleged] president in history against the worst governor in history.
It’s a Seinfeld election.
A show about nothing.
We can do better. We must do better. Much better.
The debates will sort it all out. With all the ammo that Romney has to use against Obama, if he can’t win the debates, maybe he doesn’t deserve to be President. Obama should be “easy pickings” for Romney.
Bob Dole might disagree with you.
How many states you are you on the ballot in so far?
I blame that last post on my tooth ache. But i think you know what I meant.
The root of all evil? You must be talking about sin. It sure isn’t money.
A few of months ago, Carl Rove was on O’Reilly. I wish there was an article about it that I could give a link to. Rove started with the final vote totals for Zero and McCain from 2008. Zero was about 10 million ahead. Then Rove went through each voting block:
African Americans made up 13% of 2008 voters, but they will probably only make up 9 or 10% in 2012. Rove said they would stay home as opposed to voting for Romney, so he subtracted whatever number the 9/10% represented from Zero’s total.
Independents made up X% of the vote and came out Y% for Zero in 2008, but Z% of independents have turned for Romney. So these numbers were subtracted from Zero’s column then added to the Republican column.
Jewish support has eroded, and like the African American vote, Rove said they probably would stay home rather than pull a lever for Romney. Anyhow, the result was numbers subtracted from the Zero column.
The female vote percentage has changed. So here a certain number was subtacted from the Zero column and added to the Republican column.
Rove went through every other voter block. No where does Zero pick up votes (Rove didn’t cover illegal aliens). Zero either had votes taken away with no gain to Republicans, or the votes that were subtracted were then added to the Republican column...
Result? A virtual tie. And this was well over three months ago, I’m sure.
Does anyone else remember seeing this? I will try to find a link.
I’ve seen many commercials on USA and TNT for Obama - apparently they are Obama supporters since I can’t recall seeing Romney commercials.
If they do play them not as much or overnight when no one is watching.
Networks should not be so obviously biased.
The reason he became filled with pride was he looked around himself and said "Gee, look at all this material wealth I have. I must be pretty hot stuff or else I wouldn't have all this stuff. I am such hot stuff that I really oughta be in charge around here... well I just will be in charge around here. I'll be higher than the highest, I'll be even hotter hot stuff than I am right now already... watch this."
And then we know how that worked out for him. So technically, money isn't the root of all evil but the LOVE (Oh, I love it so much, it makes me such hot stuff to have so much of it) of money truly is the root of the original sin of pride, and thus of all evil.

Bob Dole might disagree with you.
I forgot about him.
I’ll just have to flip a coin.
Conservative John Kass writes about how Obama should be down with his recent statement that he did not know the amount of the deficit, but Romney’s statement that he has written off the 47 percent is what matters to the majority of voters.

Obama’s pricey gaffe that’s worth talking about -
September 23, 2012 - Under President Barack Obama, the national debt has ballooned past the $16 trillion mark a number once inconceivable and is growing by the second as the federal leviathan feeds on borrowed money.

Ever hear of representative self-government?
You should consider it. It's an amazing concept.
"The equal rights of man, and the happiness of every individual, are now acknowledged to be the only legitimate objects of government. Modern times have the signal advantage, too, of having discovered the only device by which these rights can be secured, to wit: government by the people, acting not in person, but by representatives chosen by themselves, that is to say, by every man of ripe years and sane mind, who contributes either by his purse or person to the support of his country."-- Thomas Jefferson, Letter to A. Coray, 1823
Which is why Romney is up an average of 7.8% according to www.unskewedpolls.com
