Democrat States Moving to Romney (NH, WI, MN and MI)
Newsmax ^ | August 6, 2012 | Ronald Kessler

States that traditionally have been considered Democrat strongholds are now moving toward Mitt Romney, Bay Buchanan, a senior adviser to Romney, tells Newsmax.

“When we came into this general election, it was assumed that the battleground states would be the same ones that they were in the past,” says Buchanan, who was treasurer of the U.S. under President Reagan. “Well what’s happened is a lot of the Democratic states are now looking like Mitt Romney could win them. They are now swing states.”

That means that Democrats have to focus on an additional five states: New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan, Buchanan says. As it is, Mitt Romney and the Republican National Committee have about $25 million more cash on hand than the Democrats.

Based on polls the campaign considers reliable, “Romney is running very, very strong in some traditionally swing states,” Buchanan says. “We feel very good about Indiana now. I don’t think it’s even a swing state. In North Carolina, the numbers show us up as high as five or six percentage points. Florida looks very, very good. It is still within the margin of error, but it’s certainly very strong for us.”

While Virginia looks tougher, “We’re in play,” Buchanan says. “That’s clearly going to go down to the wire. But we’re looking strong in Wisconsin. We got some two dozen offices in Wisconsin. We’re all over the state running very strong grass roots. It’s going to be up on TV, and so we’re going to force the Democrats to use some of their money if they want to hold on to Wisconsin...

They don’t have to move far. That is like moving from one end of the sofa to the other. You are still on the sofa.

Yep, and I called that out yesterday:

www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2914861/posts?page=33#33

The basic point is that in states with a lot of whites and not too many Hispanics, Romney will be competitive, as Obama’s jettisoned the white vote.

Obama changed the rules by how he governed, now he’s got to start finding new states to win...

I hope Romney get a landslide....because I'm sure Obama will cheat like hell.

Hope he picks up Pennsyvania.

Remember...We need the House and Senate, too......Would love super majority in the Senate.

A lot. CT is a lib blue state. Romney might make it close, but Obama will probably carry it narrowly.

I know something is up. They’re spending money on Obama ads in California while begging for your birthday and wedding presents. Weird.

Never forget that McLame was leading and then, out of the blue, the financial crisis was triggered by a massive move of money.
That can happen again.

If Gov. Romney wins Connecticut, Oregon, Minnesota or Pennsylvania, Mr. Obama has lost.

It appears many people have forgotten that and the POS that started the financial crisis (IndyMac: Mini Bank Run) was none other than UpChuck Schumer and of course he's never been investigated for it!

It's a 'pro-choice' couch in NH...at the presidential level; both candidates support abortion. At the Congressional level; both candidates support abortion.

Swell.

Unlike Romney, BO’s got 7 more states to work.

This seems to mesh with what Dick Morris is saying in his latest column, linked at Drudge. Morris claims he was shown the “real” numbers over the weekend, polling based on likely voters in all the potential swing states. According to Morris, the trend line is clearly moving in Romney’s favor, with Obama only ahead (slightly) in Virginia, Ohio and Florida—and all of his leads are in the margin of error.

And, there is some measure of independent confirmation for this trend. A new poll in NC has Romney up by five; Missouri is solidly in the R column as well and the most recent poll from VA has Romney up five, but I’m not sure if that one is accurate, or is an outlier.

I am a bit surprise that Obama is back on top in the Rasmussen daily tracking poll, but it’s only the second time in the last month or so.

There’s lots of good news in the polling that the MSM is doing everything it can to suppress or supplant with their own, bogus polls. Unfortunately, it all but guarantees and October surprise of the first magnitude, one that likely involves a war with Iran.

New Hampshire has one of the least % of black population.

Thus Barky has 95% of 0.

Hope and change....no LIVE FREE OR DIE.

They have an independent streak in NH.

Plus Romney is in Wolfboro today — his summer place.

NH is only 4 EV but that’s a big 4 EV.

“Can this be true?”
Probably. His record is far enough left that Democrats can be at ease voting for him.

“While Virginia looks tougher, “We’re in play,” Buchanan says”

Then you have some Freepers pushing Goode in Virginia in the spoiler roll. I guess they like to see the national debt rise over $20 billion if the Marxist Obama gets another 4 years. Virginia is a key state if we are to save the country.
