Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney reacted to the Supreme Court's Obamacare decision by saying that, "if we want to get rid of Obamacare, we're going to have to replace President Obama."
"Lets make clear that we understand what the Court did and did not do," Romney said today, speaking in Washington, D.C. "What the Court did today was say that Obamacare does not violate the Constitution. What they did not do was say that Obamacare is good law or that it's good policy."
Romney added: "Obamacare was bad policy yesterday. It's bad policy today. Obamacare was bad law yesterday. Its bad law today."
This presidential election is "a choice," Romney said. "You can choose whether you want to have a larger and larger government, more and more intrusive in your lifeseparating you and your doctorwhether you're comfortable with more deficits, higher debt that we pass onto the coming generations. Whether you're willing to have the government put in place a plan that potentially causes you to lose the insurance that you like or whether instead you want to return to a time when the American people will have their own choice in healthcare. Where consumers will be able to make their choices as to what kind of health insurance they want."
"This is the time of choice for the American people," Romney said.
Romney concluded: "Help us. Help us defeat Obamacare. Help us defeat the liberal agenda that makes government too big, too intrusive, and is killing jobs across this great country."

I stand corrected.
But we STILL need to weed out the whole damn lot of them.
On issue after issue, every thread on them seems surreal.
If you want the lower gas prices, lower oil prices, and lower energy prices necessary for a booming economy, you are going to have to get yourselves another President.

Time to stop being delusional about Washington DC doing anything other than continually growing the Federal Apparatus and taking more of the working mans cash and freedom to support itself.
The GOP has demonstrated when it was in control that it just redirects the money extorted on a slightly smaller scale from taxpayers to capitalists, as opposed to the Democrats who give ridiculous amounts of money that doesn't even exist to communists and morons in exchange for votes.
DC is the problem, never will be the solution.
Collapse and reset are inevitable.
Can anyone name a government entitlement that has been stopped?
Well said.
“One day one he can cease the allocation of funds to the implementation. If Obama can decide to not enforce the law on the borders, Romney can decide to not enforce the law of Obamacare.”
That’s correct, what’s more is that an extra term of Obama means that he can easily appoint two more Supreme Court justices and make Obamacare unanimously constitutional.
It’s in any president’s authority to appoint Supreme Court Justices, and realizing how Roberts made that one little difference, think of what two more justices (7) would do.
What we really need is a house that has balls and will simply bring all business in the house to a total stop until the president and senate both sign a repeal.
A TOTAL stop. No laws, no continuations, appointments et all. That requires what we have at this moment, only with a sense of purpose and a loyalty to their country.
All the screaming in the media means nothing. All the screaming of the lib/Dems means nothing. The House controls the money. Period.
When the money runs out and no one gets a check, they have a choice. Stay broke and starve or pressure the Senate and President to repeal.
That’s how you play hardball if you value your country more than your job.

I'm not sure just yet but the U.S. is rated around number 10 as the freest country in the world.
If you ask me that's pretty damn pathetic.

Fair enough. So name the one to which YOU long to move.
Apples and oranges. Romney's actions as Governor of Massachusetts comes nowhere close to this.
It may be difficult for hard core conservatives to do, but we all need to rally behind the party this time around and not allow minor differences in some policies overshadow the larger effort.
Romney has my vote, as does every Republican on the ticket... RINO or not. If we let our voices be heard loud and clear this November, the Congress and the President will not be able to repeal this thing fast enough.
And you know, if Romney breaks his promise to repeal ObamaCare then he becomes a one-term President.
This on is too important for ANY of us to sit at home this election.
What’s more is now Romney has to do exactly that on day one - cease the enforcement and implementation of Obamacare - because on the most important day of his campaign, the day everyone in the country was listening, he said that he would do that on his first day.
No President, particularly a Republican who won’t get any cover in the press, will break the most important promise of his campaign on his first day in office. Yeah, Romney is a politician who says what he thinks the voters want to hear. But he is not a stupid politician that commits willful political suicide on his first day in office.
Romney has also said that he’ll Repeal it on his first day in Office.
HOW? Without the super majorities in both houses that WE DON’T HAVE, (and even if we Get them this November they’ll need time to write the Repeal Bill for him to sign) the only gambit he’ll posses is Executive Order.
As horrifyingly destructive as PPACA is, and as much as we All want it Gone, do we Really want to get into Dueling Executive Orders of this magnitude?
We write them, They write them. And soon enough NOBODY even Cares about Congress any more because the Laws flow directly from the President’s daily whims.
ROMNEY, AS USUAL, IS COMPLETELY FULL OF IT.

Obama must go.
Nothing else matters.
No- if this is a “tax” as they say, all we need is 51 votes then, not 60. The communist scum won’t be able to filibuster us on budgetary items. This is a pure up or down simple majority vote.
The surest way is an article 5 convention called by the states.
I really doubt if the state legislatures have any guts what-so-ever for it.
I donated to Romney this evening
