Newt Gingrich is the only Presidential Candidate now running who:
1.) Has a comprehensive platform that will rapidly release America's businesses from the crushing grip of a no-interest Fed, Nanny-State Regulations, and terminate endless obstacles to work projects in America.
2.) Will approve the Keystone Pipeline from Canada on his first day in office.
3.) Will ask Congress to stay in Session for 17 days before his Inauguration to pass legislation for him to sign on his first day in office.
4.) Fully understands how to work with a hostile Congress to achieve Conservative goals.
5.) Has a comprehensive plan to abolish, on his first day in office, 40 % of the despicable Obamanation including the Dodd-Frank Law.
These positions set Newt apart from two of the other three Candidates who stubbornly cling to the time-honored traditions of "The Bipartisan Cave-In" by the RINO Political Party. (Democrats NEVER cave-in, but they still call it Bipartisan.)
I enjoy reading about the furor caused by Newt rocking the boat. Newt offers a clear philosophical break to the leadership of the RINO Party, and thus has triggered the fear emotion of fight or flight among many faithful RINOs.
As usual, the most electable RINO will be chosen as the Party Nominee in Tampa, a failed and time-tested method of playing not to lose, just like the way losing teams do in football.
Nonetheless, Newt has defined a platform that the RINO Party must take some planks from to avoid going the way of the Whig Political Party.
I say Santorum leaves after Florida - hello NEWT!
I’m, still, concerned that a President Gingrich will become a “Big Government Conservative”, instead of becoming a “Small Government Conservative”!
Unfortunately what sells is not necessarily the better product.
Gentlemen. I think if we lose this fight ... we lose the war.
So, if you choose to join us, I'll be personally very grateful.

He has never been a big government espouser. Everytime someone says that I wonder what MSM drivel they believed.
We are pretty much screwed because you’ve more than enough dronesalbeit self-professed conservative oneswho believe said drivel.
Also Santorum isn’t going anywhere. Hello Romney :/
I hope you’re wrong. Even if we lose Fla there are 47 more states. Pray.
Ode to the Grand Olde Party, and their BFF, the Obamanator.
When Newt or Paul rocks the GOP Establishment Boat,
The GOP oarsmen pull knives from their boots.
The hacking and slashing puts extreme fighting to shame,
Never, no NEVER rock the GOP Establishment Boat!
The GOP cannot win elections, by choice of their suits,
A RINO Nominee is a Democrat, - - - - one and the same.
Two Party as One Party is what they adore.
Never give voters a choice, ( or politicians
Are out of life-time jobs, - - forever more).
As we pay our bills holding our noses as we vote,
The Obamanator holds his cold, steel knife
To Americas throat - - - - .
Newt kind of has me curious, I know there will be times when I will be furious at him, but we all know that any President will be totally out of acceptability with us on some events and issues and we all know that those will vary for each one of us, but I get the feeling it might be kind of exciting with Newt.
In many ways, or areas, Newt’s background and resume, is what we would have written down in a fantasy design of the perfect man for president, at least in these times when we need someone who can handle the Congress, and who thinks big and wide, and long term, and who knows how we got to this place, and why nothing ever works, or gets better.
The possibility is that Newt could be truly great, the raw material is sure there.
Get real. He's trying to buy Florida votes with taxpayer money promised to a stupid moon project. He's just like all the vote buying politicians who trade our money for his votes.
"Socialize the expenditure, privatize the votes"
From your Flag Page, Newt would be an Alpha Male Sheepdog.
My question to you is as follows: “What will be the effect of Newt Gingrich’s Presidential Campaign on the Republican Party?”
My assumption is that EVERY Republican Presidential Candidate has an effect, for better or for worse, on the Republican Party.
I’d like to read your comments.
So whom do you prefer?
Mitt or or Obama?
I don’t have any idea what effect he would have, I do have an impression that he would not be as smothering of the conservative side as our GOP Presidents so invisibly, always are, Palin’s faction and conservatives would make gains under Newt, I don’t know the results of his out reach to the non-republican voters, but I do think that he would truly seek to enlarge the party, not just talk about it, which may not be totally pleasing.
I think there would be massive nasty fights with Newt, but that he is a big thinker that would do a superior job of managing those bloody internal fights, and keep the blood shed to as low as humanly possible, considering the level they are going to be at.
A Newt Presidency will be one of dramatic change, that means a lot of what we saw in the 1990s, and sometimes it will be conservatives taking the hits, I think that most of his battles will be with liberals of course, but under Newt I think that we will be shocked to see just how joined at the hip the political class of Washington is, regardless of the party uniform they wear.
Newt was fighting a messy war in the 90s because he was trying to break through the crust, his Presidency will be the same in that way, but he will have his experience as the speaker, his 20 years of analyzing and study since then, and he will have the Presidency, he could be a real history maker.
My point is that I think the party would emerge larger, more conservative, more cohesive and united than today, and I think that it would be more Hispanic.
I think that Newt has the talent and ability to finally get the message to Hispanics of how the two parties differ, which would result in that elusive dream of Hispanics realizing that they are mostly conservative, finally coming true.
Hispanic Protestants are already 50/50 voters, Newt could lock them up for good as permanent Republican values voters, Catholic Newt would also be doing the same thing with Catholic Hispanics, and he could perhaps bring them closer to the 50/50 mark, and I think that those changes would be more or less permanent, some of that appeal and education on party differences, would also bleed over to blacks, it would be very nice to start getting 25% of the black vote.
Romneybama is ... a trap.
” - - - he was trying to break through the crust - - - “
I like the way that you described Newt’s efforts in the 1990’s. We indeed had a “crust” that made Tip O’Neal’s quote a self-fulfilling prophesy: “All politics is, (sic), local.” Newt changed that to All Important Politics are National with his “Contract WITH America.”
Newt has the Conservative track record to see that America has been pushed off the tracks by the Obamanator, my question is will he be able to find enough support amongst the few remaining Republicans that are still in the prevailing, (and ailing), RINO Party to lead America out of THE VALLEY OF DEBT?
Maybe not as Newt is not on Missouri’s ballot, and Santorum could get a big win over Willy Rom-Rom-RINO there in the Land of Jesse James.
“What will be the effect of Newt Gingrich’s Presidential Campaign on the Republican Party?”
I would hope that he would drive them further to the right. Realistically though, I don’t see that happening. The republicans see him as an obsticle to overcome. When Romney loses miserably like Dole & McCain, they will find some way to blame “divisive” conservatives.
I registered out of the party a long time ago. No more holding my nose and voting for the lesser evil. I’m done being a republican fool.
Personally, I think the time has come for the republicans to go the way of the whigs.
” - - - Personally, I think the time has come for the republicans to go the way of the whigs.”
If Romney wins the RINO Nomination, there will be a Conserve America Party, (CAP).
If CAP out votes the RINOs in 2014 and 2016 you will be correct.
