If you like Scott Walker, you’ll love Rick Perry
MSNBC ^ | John Bailey and Domenico Montanaro

A group called State Tea Party Express paid for the ad below, which has been running on FOX, linking Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) and Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R), who's running for president. Walker was embroiled in a budget controversy over state-workers’ collective-bargaining rights -- and saw a standoff in which all of the state’s Democratic senators fled Wisconsin.

Scott Walker instituted in-state tuition for illegals and practices crony capitalism? Links?

Wisconsin lawmakers aren’t the first to flee
Democratic state senators there have left the Capitol to stall a vote on union proposals.

In 2003, Texas Democrats did the same to block a vote on a redistricting plan.

Wow, MSNBC !

Since they absolutely HATE Walker there at MSNBC I wouldnt take this as anything useful. Walker is not giving freebees to illegals and calling Republicans “Heartless” like GWB two is.

What a shameful comparison. Scott Walker is one of the best Governors in the country. La Raza Rick ? Just another punk career politician and illegal panderer trying to stop the Tea Party movement for the RINO establishment.

I guess you think something must be seriously wrong with Scott Walker to allow his picture to be alongside Rick Perry?

I don’t know much about Walker aside from the union fight but that doesn’t mean a lot. Our Governor in Michigan could easily claim the same despite the fact that he’s a full on liberal in love with high speed rail, solar and wind, and wants to keep tabs on how fat our kids are.

I call BS...
Has Walker endorsed Perry or something?
Honestly, it sounds like Perry is desperate trying to compare himself to Walker.

Have a hard time buying this analogy. Walker really stuck his neck out in the face of a media hellstorm. By a similar token so did Jan Brewer (despite whatever other faults she might have). They both took valiant actions in the face of extremely tough headwinds and truly impressed me. And I was equally impressed when Sarah Palin came out and stood with both governors, when embarrassingly few other big GOP names did.

Rick Perry? He’s been my governor for nearly a dozen years now, and I frankly don’t remember a single time he’s really stood up to any kind of remotely similar adversity. I’m not particularly convinced he would, to be honest.

exactly.

the liberal media, will attack whichever conservative is on top, to help Romney. and help, whichever is weakest, to split the conservative vote.

...the SAME thing they did to help get McCain as our nominee in 2008.

i think any true conservative would be ashamed to quote hard left sources like MSNBC, Daily Caller, and American Spectator, as “newsworthy”, even to help their candidate.

In the debate he had with George HW Bush, Ronald Reagan called for open borders with Mexico (look it up). Oh, no! Our saint was tarnished.

Perry has foiled the trial lawyers, the teachers union and Obama's EPA. His conservatism is solid.

Seriously, who are these folks at the “StateTeaPartyExpress.org”? No names and no accountability at their website. Perry probably won’t mind folks seeing him equated with Walker, but Walker might have a problem with this group trying to equate him with Perry.

I notice that these ads aren’t endorsed by any candidate, or candidate committee. It’s one thing to run ads on issues, it’s another thing altogether to start putting together politicians who may NOT want to be linked in that way. Frankly, it’s just rude. It looks like someone is trying to push their own personal dream ticket of Perry and Walker... Wisconsin NEEDS Walker, and we are facing our OWN problems in dealing with the possible recall. People don’t need to muddy the water with ads like this...

There are two or three, what I’d call AVID, Perry supporters who’ve drunk the coolaid big time....probably even one or two paid Perry campaign staff who’ve just recently signed up....their common trait? They are pretty much whoring themselves out ideologically like a two dollar whore at 2 am trying to get that last John for the night.

It is positively amazing how low they will swoop....
