How do you know that?

First, we are talking numbers, not percentage.

Second, I don't give welfare to FReepers. Go look it up....it's an easy statistic to confirm.

She was defending Gingrich with the racist accusation. She by no means let him off the hook with what he said regarding social engineering by the right. Come On!!!!

So, I just support my candidate instead and occasionally point out why I do not support Palin sit around and wait on Free Republic for any Palin thread I can find and troll it to disparage Palin or her supporters, whichever tickles my fancy at any given moment.

FIFY.

“Well, talk about racism – that was a racist-tinged question from David Gregory,” Palin declared. “He made it sound like that if you’re black you’re on food stamps and the president is referring to you being on food stamps. I think that’s racist.

We need this lady to be the GOP nominee for President.

“I would rather vote for a polarizing figure than a non polarizing one.”

That’s OK, that’s how you feel.

But in any election about 30% of the people, on each side, are going to feel that way.

That’s 60% and leaves 40% up for grabs.

If we can’t win at least 25% more we are not going to win.

Of that 40% approximately NONE of them want to vote for a polarizing person.

That is why Obama did not run as the America-hating, Israel-hating, radical leftist Muslim sympathetic person that he so manifestly is.

Had he done so he would have been very polarizing and we all would have been talking about “how do we beat Hillary! in 2012?”

If we don’t win the middle, we don’t win.

(btw sorry if this turns into some double/messed up post, my browser crashed while I was writing this.)

So, anyone the LSM demonizes until they get unfavorables, we need to throw under the bus, and let them pick our candidates?

She is the like the person who sits in the stands and says what the players should have done. Get in the game, do some interviews besides Sean and Gretta, and see if YOU can ‘hit the curve ball’ Ms Palin. It requires thinking on your feet, not responding to something that has already happened.

That is how this country got so effed up.

Also, the media saying one is polarized and them actually turning away that 25 % are two different things, don't be too hasty to swallow that bait, hook, line and sinker.

IF she announces, there is going to be one hell of a upsetting of the cart.

If, not, this conversation is moot.

No, I am not saying that.

But we’ve got a bunch of candidates (and Palin isn’t one as of now) and we need to consider how each of them is going to play to the peanut gallery.

She should not have been defending Gingrich.

She wasnt defending Gingrich, she was attacking the credibility of the press using this Gregory remark as a platform.

She is talented. I am not her fan, but I am watching. With the right VEEP she could stand up to the Dem Machine. Both would have to be pitbulls.

According to you theory then, we should have “President McCain” in office right now.

How do you figure? The more one listens to Juan "Lettuce" McLame, the more one despises him. Plus, he declined to engage in an actual campaign and endorsed The Won, pretty much in so many words. How do you figure that history applies to Palin (or ANYONE)?

She really does "hit um where they live". And then some. It just elevates folks to no end to actually hear the words she speaks - direct, full of reality and totally, totally Sarah. God Bless Sarah Palin and her family!

And as for for the magic negro phrase, well, I'm still hooked on 'long legged mack daddy'. LOL!

Methinks Sarah Palin will not play to that LSM peanut gallery, she will spit in their eye.

“Methinks Sarah Palin will not play to that LSM peanut gallery, she will spit in their eye.”

Not THAT peanut gallery, the peanut gallery of the mushy middle voters.

Like my co-worker, my over-taxed, over-worked, striving, white, married with kids co-worker, not a lib, or at least not a super lib, who casually said to me the other day “I HATE Sarah Palin but...blah, blah, blah”

She was even sticking up for Sarah, but only in the context of already hating her.

It was at that moment that I determined that Palin’s time is not now.

Fairly or unfairly (unfairly mostly) ORDINARY people don’t like her enough for her to run for president and WIN right now.

And we need to win.
