FYI - Pretty sure ORDINARY people (country class) love Sarah Palin.

“According to your theory then, we should have “President McCain” in office right now.”

“Ever heard of the psychosis called “Denial”?”

Yea but I gotta admit, McCain was a REAL drag on the ticket....”You don’t have to fear Mr. Obama as president”......How do you stump for a running mate like that?....The prospect of running a campaingn the way she wants to run it this time around must have Governor Palin dancing around the campfire......

“I hope she finds a way to reach out to all the women who haven’t made the good choices she’s made. A lot of them are pretty bitter.”

That is a problem.....The women who do not like her are vicious in their criticism of her......It’s almost as though Governor Palin herself actually brings conviction (to wrong doing whether is be abortion ect.) which in turn brings on the bitterness and nastiness from the woman who feels that emotion.....And when I meet someone like that it is based on pure emotion, having absolutely nothing to do with her credentials as a politician.....They have no desire to review or even discuss her accomplishments......

“She is talented. I am not her fan, but I am watching. With the right VEEP she could stand up to the Dem Machine. Both would have to be pitbulls.”

That has been my point for quite a while when the arguement that she has no chance in he## of getting elected is put out there....Even a non-fan of the Governor when watching her perform with an unbiased open mind is impressed with her political savvy.....That could work to her favor when pitted against RINO’s in the primary and Obama in the election.....

“Well, I think to start with, we ignore some of these reporters and their requests for us to comment and be interviewed,” she said. “We know going in to it what they are going to do to a conservative. So why participate in their game? Instead, candidates need to get their message out via new social media, via fair and balanced reporters who will just allow the facts to get out there. Don’t participate in that goofy game that has been played now for too many years with the leftist lamestream media trying to twist a candidate’s words and intent and content of their statement.”

The author misses a subtle, but potential crucial point here. The media has put themselves in the position of being unable to attack Palin on picking and choosing her appearances because:

a) They have allowed (unchallenged) Obama to shut out media access to those the White House deems "unfair". See the recent dust-up about his trip to Boston and the Boston Herald being shut out.

b) Unlike the Herald, the media has actually been patently unfair toward Palin.

Should anyone from the old guard media try to needle her on the subject, I expect she's ready to lower the boom on them.

Yes. I’m reminded of “Billy Budd” and the theme that sometimes someone very good brings out the worst in another person. A flawed individual cannot bear to be near a shining example because they pale in comparison.

A weak, base person will literally bash himself on the rock of a stalwart like a wave crashing on the rocks at the beach. The hate is intense— because it’s based on self-hatred.

Take it from me. I know.
