One too many political tea-leaf readers say that Sarah Palin, with her rock-star personality, loyal following and outsized influence on the Republican Party, could jump into the 2012 presidential race at the last minute and run off with the GOP nomination for president. This is in defiance of consistent and plain evidence that Palin is going nowhere fast.
Now a new poll from the University of New Hampshire only adds to the brief against her running. Among likely Republican voters, the former governor of Alaska garnered just six percent support. Blowing out the field was former next-door Gov. Mitt Romney (Mass.) with 40 percent. Rudy Giuliani, the former New York City mayor who came in fourth during the New Hampshire primary in 2008, came in second with 10 percent.
Now, here's where the news is really bad for Palin. Romney has a net favorability rating among likely Republican primary voters at a solid 57 percent. Palin has a net negative favorability rating of -17 percent. That puts her at the bottom of the list of GOP White House hopefuls. There is one silver lining. At least she beats the publicity-hungry Donald Trump. His net favorability rests in the cellar at -43 percent.
Lots can change between now and when the New Hampshire primary actually happens early next year. And we all know that winning the Granite State doesn't mean the nomination is secured. Just ask my MSNBC colleague Pat Buchanan, who snatched the state from Sen. Bob Dole (R-Kan.) in 1996, or Sen. John McCain, who lost it to then-Texas Gov. George W. Bush during the nomination race of 2000.....

Surprise, surprise!
Well, one could also ask why Senator Barack Obama quit his post after 104 days as a Senator, though, of course, in his case, he continued to draw a monthly check in exchange for NOTHING..... except a vote for TARP, which he continually complains George Bush forced him to do.
People like Palin as a personality. For President, nope.
Correction: People like Palin as a personality. For President, they love her.
How could West ever be a prop and how could you ever get that out of what I said? Give me a break.
That guy is top of the ticket material. VP would be a waste. He has a future.
Oh, well then I agree.
I want to read their articles when she enters. She will determine her own destiny. These nitwits can keep attempting to dissuade her even entering because they know damn well it will be their day of reckoning and she will damage them more than herself and will only help this country look in the mirror. They are just so damn desperate with these continuous attacks.
No they don’t. I know people who like her but would not want her to be President.
People on FR don’t pay attention to how she is looked at outside of FR.
Some despise her, some are neutral, some think she should keep doing what she is doing now, some do not believe she can win, some don’t think she is ready yet, some love her.
It is a mixed bag.
Years ago, one of the few true conservative gays in America, told me whenever we saw/read a insane bashing of GW, Cheney, R Reagan and others on our side to do a simple Yahoo search on the so called journalist.
That search was/is simple: type in the name of the maggot infested pseudo journalist + gay and do the search.
Incredibly most of those maggots during GW’s time turned out to be blatant gays pushing their agendas or at least pro gay and pro gay agendas in their writings.
Now, with the vicious attacks against Sarah Palin, I do the same. The search results are often like what I posted about this maggot infested/lying pos posing as a journalist.
Try the search when you see one of these rabid and unbased attacks against Sarah.
ROFL...
And they always seem to use attack journalism in anything they write about!
LMAO...Hand wringers like u are a dime a dozen....U never did answer my question...Speaks volumes...Ill be watching for u now....*G*
Just saying New Hampshire and Iowa have way too much sway in the rest of the primaries. They may not defeat you, but conservatives are forced to start from a hole
