Vote in our Poll: Should Sarah Palin run for president in 2012?
GOPUSA ^ | October 8, 2010

Rumors have ramped up recently concerning Sarah Palin's activities and her political plans for 2012.

As always Palin is a controversial figure. She continues to draw huge crowds wherever she appears and many, but not all, of her endorsements have paid off the candidates in the primary season.

Some say she has no chance, she's too divisive, they won't support her. What do you say? Please leave a comment to explain your reasons for your answer.

Rush LImbaugh had some comments yesterday about conservative candidates who are controversial.

Should Sarah Palin run for president in 2012?

You’re going to do a lot better if you don’t try to tell me what I’m going to like or dislike. This thread isn’t about my likies or dislikes any more than it is about you, although you are tried to make it that way with your claims that Sarah holds “radical” positions.

I am a realist more than anything else. Sarah Palin has a tough uphill battle thanks to the vile lamestream news media that still dominates, despite the best efforts of Fox News Channel and the Internet.

She has done very well by herself, through her FaceBook essays, her speeches, her campaign efforts on behalf of conservative candidates and her speaking engagements where she is the most sought after speaker in the whole of the USA.

Just the other night, she raised a cool $Million for the private Christian, Faulkner Univeristy, in Montgomery, Alabama, and tomorrow she is headlining a speaking forum with VP Dick Cheney in Bakerfield, CA.

And you’d do a lot better if you didn’t run around calling people trolls. With that I bid you a good night!

"I’m thinking of how the rest of the world views us."

What a sniveling simp.

Yeah, it really hurt Germany with Angela Merkle, or Britain with Maggie Thatcher. Grow some nads, will ya? The rest of the world isn't fooled about her like the lemming nitwits in America.

Any foreign powers who made the mistake of underestimating her would only do so until the first one tested the limits by pushing her. As his severed head rolls off the table into the weeds of history, the rest of 'em will figure it out real fast.

Unfortunately, the Presidential election isn't now. A lot can happen in two years.

Think again. The 2012 primary campaign is just around the corner.

Sure, a lot can happen between now and 2012, but if the last two years are any indication, Sarah's trajectory to the White House is dead on target, and is likely to remain so.

The poster is new to Sarah Palin threads and used the word “radical” positions, then got all defensive about it and didn’t want to answer you and the others. S/he is likely better suited to the American Idol threads.

MSM has really tarnished her reputation

Caving to the enemy, I see. Hope you are not "flying right" in our military

My dad is old and frail. I probably won't see him again before he passes. It just wasn't the time to make a scene.

You and I have an identical situation in that regard. My dad is 80, and is in his second marriage. His wife is a barking moonbat, who rabidly hates everything and everyone right of center.

When I was visiting back home in April, I refrained from ripping her head off for the nasty things she spouted in my presence, in deference to my dad. I don't know when (or if) I'll see him again in this life.

This is something new for me. Until now, I've always given her hell for her whacked out liberal views.

I told her I didn't understand how someone that goes to church every week and taught bible school could vote for a pro abortion President. I asked her how she reconciled that? She walked away, went upstairs and didn't come back down the rest of the evening!

Now, that's the power of truth and reason at work. Well done. Your sister-in-law probably did a lot of soul searching that night. Hopefully, she had a major realization about her support of Democrats.

See his/her post #96. It appears to me that this person just doesn’t frequent political threads very often, and simply ran afoul of some much more seasoned observers.

Oh my, the Breakers in West Palm Beach and now she's meeting with Cheney tomorrow. That's big. I bet Cheney likes her. He will give her sage advice. And as for the Gipper, He would be very proud of Sarah Palin!

I may look at that as well. The term US is used as an outside.

Oh yes. RWR would absolutely love her. His own son, Michael has said that. I hope VP Cheney likes her (I’m sure he will) and I hope he becomes an instant supporter!

Our Sarah Palin is sure getting around. She’s in demand!

Thank you for your kind words. I’m a grandmother, so growing some “nads”, as you say, is going to be a little difficult.
Our present government has emboldened our enemies, and made the world a more dangerous place. Putin, the Chinese, Middle East, South America, are flexing their muscles, and mocking us to our face. They are not held at bay by Germany, Britain, or anyone else. It’s only America is able to make our enemies stand down.
None of our enemy nations are run by women.
No where in the world, are women respected, privleaged, honored or as free as they are in America.
You step into our enemy nations and it’s a man’s world all the way.
This is no time to give Sarah the opportunity to be President. It’s time to send a real man to do a real man’s job. And send that message to our enemy, “break bones/take no prisoners.”

I’ll vote for her if she is nominated, but I don’t think the American people will. They are actually for the most part “afraid” of her. And women are jealous of her.

Got tired of your lies. Here's a couple of threads regarding Sarah from 2009 and there were plenty more going further back, but these will suffice to show what a liar you are. I also did answer the question about positions that independents and dems might find radical, to them, but is wasn't good enough for you. Fortunately others can read and see how obtuse you are being. As for American Idol, I saw you posting there, so why is it that you can take a break there, but, I can't?

The liberal media has slandered her too much all ready. That’s why I’m supporting more liberty-leaning candidates.

Do you really want to let the media determine who will be our candidate in 2012?

I say “Go For It”

The people will decide, not the pollsters or pundits.

I want more women seeing your posts. That would get more women pissed off than anything. If something galvanized women like something someone patronizing her. That and women realizing she could actually be the first woman to be President.
Would you be willing to be the sacrificial lamb to make women see red and storm the barricades? You have all the inflammable rhetoric already. :)
