Recent earthquake activity in Alaska provided “CBS Early Show” co-hosts with a ready-made metaphor for a segment on the personal lives of some of the those surrounding Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. But their quake turned out to be barely a ripple.
Hosts Harry Smith and Maggie Rodriguez couldn’t contain their smirks as they introduced the piece. “There's been an earthquake rumbling outside Anchorage, but there is some other rumblings, as well, near Wasilla,” Smith snickered. “Oh, indeed,” Rodriguez chimed in with her eyebrows raised. “Sarah Palin says that she is focused on one thing, governing Alaska. But it has been hard to dodge the negative headlines swirling around her friends and family. Some real doozies.”
Levi Johnston, Bristol Palin’s ex fiancée and father of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s grandson, was interviewed on the Tyra Banks show. Questioned by Banks, Johnston said “I’m pretty sure she [Gov. Palin] probably knew” he and Bristol were sexually active.” Then (perhaps momentarily forgetting that there was living proof to the contrary) he tried to maintain that the two had “always” practiced safe sex. After several prompts from Banks, he reluctantly admitted it was only “most of the time.”

Exactly! In the “News You Can’t Use” segment on Morning Joe, some idiot, liberal woman commented on what a horrible distraction the Levi/Bristol “story” would be, if Sarah Palin were VP right now.
Yet, nobody mentioned the Ashley Biden cocaine story. If nothing else, it proves that a VP’s daughter with personal problems does not impact the running of the nation.
To her credit, Mika expressed her discomfort with the Levi/Tyra story, and clearly did not like it being covered.

I haven’ watched that morning show since they railroaded Hannah Storm out the door. There is only one morning show for me and that’s Fox and Friends.
A scandal?
Gee. A scandal.
Well, good golly. It’s not as if she is:
1.) A disciple of an astoundingly and incredibly amoral and immoral author like Saul Alinsky who dedicated the pinnacle of his life’s work (Rules for Radicals) to, amongst other thngs, Satan.
2.) A close personal friend with a Black Theologian racist “Reverend” Wright who thinks the white people in this country invented AIDS to kill black people, donated thousands of dollars to this man’s “church” as he sat in the pews nodding with agreement all those years before the light of the public shined for a fleeting instant on that rathole.
3.) A close associate of a terrorist like Bill Ayers and his like in the Weathermen who thought a reasonable price to pay would be to kill millions of Americans who wouldn’t buy into their radical plans once they took power, not to mention Bernadine Dohrn who thought the sticking of a fork by murderers into the slain body of a pregnant woman was a fabulous thing.
4.) Someone who has gone on record and vowed on recorded film to gut our military
5.) Has bowed at the waist a la POW Jerimiah Denton to a Saudi King.
Those would be really BAD associations, right? Jeez, you could throw your presidential aspirations out the window with just one of those things...

Quotes are around the wrong word. Leaving the moral issues aside, anyone who thinks “safe sex” is 100% safe is ignorant (which is to say well qualified for work in the MSM). Plenty of women get pregnant and people get STDs practicing “safe sex.” Condoms, birth control pills, etc. — none of it works 100% of the time, although nobody would know that from the media.

Basically, I’m looking to see whats gone on since I went to sleep, not what random associations Kilmeade finds wandering through his pea brain.
