They were actually phrased as two separate questions. If you look at each question, the sum of the percentages is <100%.

But they’re going to vote for Obama anyway because they think being an effective Commander in Chief is less important than being a “lightworker”.

Ironic, I think Bill Clinton made a better CIC than Obama would. At least Bill Clinton never made vague references to putting the Pentagon on trial.

80% is a massive number. Especially for a non-incumbent, non-VP looking to move up.

When is the last time such a candidate got such a high result?

Problem there being that Iraq is no longer the number one issue in the election.

Right. But keep the CIC advantage, add energy, reform and economy advantages and he’d be set. If McCain can get that message out and be effectively organized on the ground, he’s golden.
