Bob Corker can't control his own mother he surely can't be governor.
His incessant commercials are a mama's recitation of her boy's virtues. He comes across as a sap.

If I recall correctly, this is the first poll showing Corker with a lead. All others have shown him consistently in 3rd place.
How reliable is Survey USA? I'm gonna assume this poll's an outlier 'til the next one comes out.

Bob Corker has had a large media buy, which his conservative opponents don't have the financial resources to match.

I meant to type "lead", but I had to finish and log off in a hurry due to a local storm warning. So I didn't have time to catch the spelling error.

I hear a lot of Corker ad on the radio but not a word for Ed or Van. I don't know beans about Corker, but other than his mother part his, message is appealing. Any of the three will give Junior a spanking.

That's fine, as long as you vote for Ed Bryant in August.

Corker has spent a ton of money on advertising and mailings. I doubt he can keep it up though. August is a looooong way off.

This is a bunch of bunk. He was way down in the last 3 or 4 polls I've seen, and now he's in a double digit lead?
Barring the next couple of polls showing the same thing, I'm guessing his is an abbaration.
The activists are still for Bryant mostly anyway. I'm not worried at all.

I saw that and have no idea what to make of it. This is only the "second" poll I have seen for the primary, and runs contrary to the previous one, where Corker was previously dead-last. Frankly, I'm going to be very worried if Corker takes the nomination, because it was bad enough that Alexander hijacked the nomination with his big $$ in '02 and Conservatives may be so outraged at having a second injustice done that they may opt to sit out this race, and I can't say that I blame them. Corker IS a Democrat running in the wrong party.

The conservative vote is being split in two. That's why this is happening.

This is May...so I doubt the primary is that far off.
To: zbigreddogz
Bob Corker has been spending a mountain of money of advertising, and his conservative opponents are unable to match him.
Thankfully, there is time to turn it around.
