Where is Cultural Jihad?
Self | Oct 3, 2003 | Self

Posted on 10/03/2003 5:47:02 PM PDT by Dec31,1999

If anyone is wondering, and probably few are, Cultural Jihad has seemed to drop out as of September 10th. In her last comment, there is no indication whatsoever of her wanting to leave FR.

Although she and I have disagreed on points, I find it alarming that she would just drop off of the radar like that; it seems uncharacteristic.

I hope everything is OK and that she has simply decided to move on to other things, or that she has taken along vacation, but I am concerned, nonetheless. Does anyone know this long-term poster personally, or have any way of contacting her other than through this site?

Five years of dedicated posting and then totally dropping out without a clue deserves some attention, don't you think?

I would appreciate it more if you mailed it instead of posting it!

I think that FR will somehow struggle along without our resident cultural nazi.

Go get a haircut, hippie. :)

Sounds plausible. I hope that's the case and nothing worse.

Is Pardek a chick too?

Hmm....

Does she work for the Pentagon?

I have no idea.

CJ has bailed because of the McClintock-Schwarzenegger wars, I am sure of it. We sparred quite vigorously over the issue, not just on the threads but even via FReepmail to an extent in the weeks and days leading to CJ's abrupt departure. I very nearly bailed myself but relented when it seemed clear to me that the good name of Tom McClintock, an honorable, decent, and well-proven, all-around conservative, would need continual defending at FR--not just now, but for some time to come. I'm in for the duration, although I likely will post with much less frequency.

I am somewhat surprised by the suggestions that CJ is female. I always thought CJ was male, although in retrospect I must admit the written style of some posts (and FReepmail) struck me as having been written by a female. I can't explain why--they just had that aura about them.

In any event, CJ was a far more dedicated and unrelenting foot soldier than I on the WOD and libertarian threads. I got burned out a few years ago and rarely post more than one or two replies on a WOD/libertarian thread these days. But you could always count on CJ to go toe-to-toe with the libertarians for the full 12 rounds--complete with graphics. And if one of CJ's opponents dropped a punch even one millimeter below the belt you could count on CJ to take out a micrometer and jeweler's loupe, and, having verified the offense, to hit the abuse button with relish. That's a level of commitment I could never hope to match. It wearies me just to think of it.

All in all, CJ was a definite asset to FR--the pepper in the soup.

I recall on a past thread a very long time ago that CJ was revealed to be a woman. The coarse way she writes surprized me. I think a lot of folks would be surprized at another well known freeper that purposely presents herself as a man, but is not. I often get talked to as though I am a man and get called 'dude' and swore at but it never occured to me that my name would be associated with a man.

Am I reading you wrong, or did CJ support the serial groper?!

A few years back, I used to follow the WOD (War on Drugs)threads. Kevin Curry and CJ used to post on those threads constantly. They were excellent debates, most of which CJ and KC won, IMHO.

Smearing your opponents as "dopers" amd "moral liberals" would earn you a failing grade in any freshman-level debate class. Here on FR, it's considered "winning". What third-rate standards you have!

Where is Ms. Cultural Jihad?

Dec31,1999 is Cultural Jihad behind the burka!

Cultural Jihad is the kind of person I would not invite to a party. He was to condescending and not very cultural.

You say Cultural Jihad is a female, not in a million years!

Also, she turned out to be a he. Really disgusting creature!!

CGEB was and is a she; a female; a woman. I would like to know how the story/legend of her supposed "maleness" all started up in the first place, in the days before she was banned. This is a freeper "urban legend".

I relished the time CJ slurred my fathers honesty, and when I complained a bit, hit the button & got me a 3 day time out.

S/He's a fly in the soup.

"Sixtitz."

I would make some smart a$$ remark about chewing the fat-but that would probably get me banned. So I won't.

"Silly, I think she's dead."

Poor CJ. That means she will be voting democrat from here on. That's the worst thing about being dead for a Republican.

>>>TLBSHOW should be committed.

I've heard other freepers say that too. I never saw that side of him on threads I was on with him.

Well, it was either me or Laz (who would ultimately end up paying the lady the complements) and I think I did it *much* more tastefully!
