Bear + Trampoline = Ouch
CBS News ^ | September, 2003 | unknown

A bear wandered into a neighborhood in Missoula, Montana, and got stuck in a tree, leaving authorities with the responsibility of figuring out how to get him down safely.

Their brainstorming session came up with this idea: put a trampoline under him and then shoot him with a tranquilizer gun.

The bear fell onto the trampoline, and his head went between the springs, nearly hitting the ground. He then bounced into the air and fell onto the grass.

The bear was unharmed, and was scheduled to be released back into the wild.

You have to check out the video (which I'll probably screw up trying to post)

Plink Swoop Bounce Splat

If that didn't work, the video can be found at the bottom of the source page link above. Note: If you take that rout you will probably have to endure seeing a Bull's fan's hairy beer belly.

Enjoy.

I saw something like that on TV the other night. a young woman was launched by a trebuchet, landed in a net, then bounced out, falling thirty feet to the ground. She was seriously hurt. turns out if was BF's idea - oops!

The thing that gets me,... You would think the poor thing would of been better off if they just let it fall from the tree to the ground.

At least that way it might not of fallen face first.
