This mom was also room mother last year so she's becoming quite the pro. Her kid is trouble and the frequent subject for dinner discussions. Let's just say he wants to play for the other team and isn't subtle. Around here, it's always the mothers of problem kids that force themselves into close associations with PTA and teachers.

Well, to like the Skins you have to believe Several things.
1. 2nd year QB Patrick Ramsey will out play 17 year man, Vinny Testaverde.
2.Trung Canidate can outplay Future Hall of Famer Curtis Martin.
3. The Jets Defense which was number one in the NFL over the last 9 games last year, will get outplayed by a Redskins Defense learning a new system resulting from the loss of Marvin Lewis.
I dont.

Excellent analysis. I think the Jets roll tonight.
What are your preseason picks for each division?
To: xsmommy
There is no booting in public school, unfortunately.

NOT across a state line. her father picks her up in G'town and drops her in Rosslyn. she is trying to figure a way to walk there (it is doable, but a hefty hike) on her own. she loved it. and she goes to the end of the line, which is 2 minutes from here. where i pick her up.

Oh. I thought she was riding from your place all the way into G'town and back. That would involve switching lines wouldn't it?

There is no booting in public school, unfortunately. According to the parent/student/teacher/school handbook I got last week from the district - there sure is. and based on expeience with some friends in Delaware they boot in the public schools there as well.
