I have one fewer pair than I used to since the boys made mincemeat out of a pair of topsiders.

it is the custom of THIS gentleman to leave the seat as I found it. Maybe the owner want's it up for some reason, maybe they want it down. rather than go into a heavy seat discussion, I simply leave it as the owner wished it to be.
except for my ex - I always leave hers up, even when I don't use it.

we have Purple Heart and Value Village calling routinely for donations of clothes, shoes etc. so my weeding out goes on continually. speaking of weeding, my lawn guy called after inspecting my bed to ask what i wanted removed or pruned. he AGAIN complimented me on my spectacular bed, i just love this guy. My (single mom) friend was there watching xsbrownie and xsboy when he came by, and she commented on how cute he was too.

harrumph, you and xshub looking to undermine my compliment from the lawn guy! he left me red and blue ribbons, red to remove and blue to prune. i said i am not messing with that, i trust you to make it look good. he doesn't want me to be mad at him, i said i am not going to get horked off over pruning and weeding! he isn't going to be doing it, mind you. his illegals will do the work.

Well how long would he be working for you if he said? "Lady those flowers look like a trash pile. I do like the way you use dead plants for texture. It's very artistic but don't you worry about fire?"

Personally I don't care one way or another - i spent too many years being the only female in a building of men with only one bathroom - that I got used to it
Hubby and I had a great laugh the other day. I had left the seat up after cleaning - the puppy thought it real cool! I heard water splashing and new hubby wasn't in the kitchen or bathroom so I went in search of the sound. There was cinder reaching with all her length to get her head in there for a drink and splashing water EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!
