What is Rush trying to Do to Us?
Rush Limbaugh Show

Why is Rush selling Arnold down the river? Okay, so we don't know if Schwarzenegger can run a state economy, but we sure know that Joe Davis can't. No, Arnold is not a social conservative, but the man knows basic economics and has proven he knows how to make money. We can all get sweaty about Arnold's passion for socialist programs for children and whatever all else, but Arnold said he recognizes the need for emergency action to stop the rush of businesses out of this state. It's an immediate problem. And Arnold is a Republican because he knows basic facts like that taxing the junk out of people doesn't help the economy. He already said he'd take back the car registration tax hike that Davis illegally put into action.
Democrats will vote for Arnold. Many of them have already excitedly said so. And who else have we got? What are we supposed to do? Wait for another Reagan to step forward? Not likely.

Cinnamon Girl you're right Rush is an idealist the word compromise is not in his vocabulary.I'm a realist I'll take an honest modererate over a corrupt liberal any day.

First, Arnold din't run Planet Hollywood. He was one of several investors, but had no direct control.
Second, Arnold built a multi-million dollar real estate empire before he became a star, starting out with just a few thousand dollars. Of course he did have much more money from his movies to invest later, but he was successful first.
Third, I don't think any Governor can ever "fix the economy". What he can do is fix some of the governmental problems thereby creating a more business friendly environment. That will require getting at least some Democrats to go along with reforms, which he may be very well suited to do. If a conservative Republican career politician somehow did manage to get elected the Dems would see to it that he got nothing accomplished.

California deserves Davis. They re-elected him knowing he was corrupt and incompetent.

Thank you, but I didn't vote for Davis, and the rest of us who didn't DON'T deserve him. So try rooting for a change in leadership, not a deeper hole for our state.

Follow the $$$.
Lets face it, Rush and the rest o the conservative pundit crowd don't do as well when the GOP is in power - when they're out of power, the profits are staggering.
In other words, its to Rush's benefit to manipulate Dems to greater prominence.

In other words, its to Rush's benefit to manipulate Dems to greater prominence. Exactly and the reason he lost me as a listener. The day he started touting an article in the NY Times as fact when it had already been proved to be false by the White House, I started taking a hard look at Rush. I had already quit listening to him every day.
Then when he defended Russert as being non-biased and a good interviewer and dared listeners to prove Russert was biased, I turned him off most days.
Now I refuse to listen to him period! I don't find his humor funny and his continual attacks on Pres Bush and now Arnold have done it in total for me. I may only be one listener but I refuse to believe I am the only one who has hit the Off button on Rush!
He made his millions and now I am sure that he could care less! Truth Detector he is not or he wouldn't use the NY Times for a source!
My two cents!

I keep drifting over to Dennis Prager, who is on at the same time as Rush. Sometimes Rush can be so insightful and make his case against the libs with lots of juicy facts, but I haven't heard a lot of that lately. I change the station on anyone when they start talking about sports.

We stopped listening to Rush here in my office when he started to sound more like a bot than a bot. W may not stink like Clinton, but grandstanding him until he sounds like Reagan is absurd. Instead, one of my mates here has Sean Hannity's show on some sort of computer-delay-thingie I don't understand, and we listen to him every day.
