Ask ten people what "fairness" means and you can get eleven different definitions.

This isn't quite accurate in the raw state. Normally, when you get ten people together, you get nine definitions of fairness.
The tenth doesn't come because the guy with the most accurate definition is the one high-tailing it out of there.
Of course, it's quite possible that eleven is the norm in more sophisticated circles, and in the bayou counties of Florida.
