A former stripper is suing Pamela Anderson over her animated Stripperella TV series.
Janet Clover, 37, of Palm Coast, Florida, has filed a lawsuit against Anderson who provides the voice for Stripperella.
She says she is the "true creator" of the series which is about a stripper who moonlights as a superhero.
Clover is also suing comic book legend Stan Lee, who created Stripperella, and Viacom TV Networks who are screening the series.
"This office challenges Lee to produce proof of his creative work, as true authorship belongs to Tanga's Jazz," she wrote.
Tanga's Jazz is an adult club in Tampa where Clover claims she asked Lee about the concept of Stripperella a year ago during a private dance session.
"I'm just trying to get this off TV because it's not his idea," she later told the Daytona Beach News-Journal.
Anderson's agent declined to comment while Viacom were unavailable.
Stripperella first aired last week on TNN, which is being renamed Spike TV. Viacom is the cable network's parent company.

I can't believe that former stripper would stoop so low as to have a lawyer file suit against Pamel Anderson. This dispute would be better settled in a mud wrestling match.

And I want to watch it--it would be on ShowTime, probably.

These Ananova pieces and other bits of bizarre news of the weird should be posted to the general interest forum, not the news forum. Save us the trouble of having to move them, thanks. AM

I'm confused. I see a General Interest section with sub-catories of Misc, New, etc.. If I choose Misc & New under General Interest is that okay for these Ananova articles?

But of course the article on boiled peanuts qualifies for the breaking news section: I think this is much more news worthy:
