We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Hans Blix lashed out at the United States in an interview with the British paper Guardian. According to that paper, Mr Blix, who retires in three weeks' time, accused:
· The Bush administration of leaning on his inspectors to produce more damning language in their reports;
· "Some elements" of the Pentagon of being behind a smear campaign against him; and
· Washington of regarding the UN as an "alien power" which they hoped would sink into the East river.
[Well, at least with the last he would be right if Washington was a euphamism for the feelings of the American people.]
In Kantafordia, Arnold Schwarzenegger delivered a speech in which, despite saying he's not running for governor (at least not yet), nevertheless called for a "voter revolution."
And The Washington Times is reporting that Rehnquist, O'Connor, and Stevens will likely remain on the Supreme Court for another year, meaning a vacancy would be less likely.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

OK... you guys are right, Bush wasn't really elected in 2000, and really is our illegetimate President. Now... that being the case, he should be able to run in 2004 for his first "Real" election, and the run again in 2008 for a 2nd term. It would be a fun thing to spring on someone like Bill Press, just after he makes the "he wasn't really elected" argument.

Good morning - can't stay around, as usual, but wanted to weigh in with two thoughts about The Book:
--I wonder if there is and/or will be "Cattle Futures Math" applied to the sales figures for it, and
--Doesn't the cover picture have a remarkable resemblence to the cover of one of those Diana books that was out a few years ago?
Prayers for those who need them and especially for those who think they don't. Have a great day, everyone! Go M's!

Wish someone would ask her heinous and her minions just what the bimbo erruption team planned to do to those women who would be a threat to their power? We know that 'she' hired Paladino.......who is now sitting in jail in CA......we know that one beauty queen feared for her life and was on the run, country to country, hiding from them......
The question is why the media has chosen to ignore these problems.....but then we paid the ultimate price for this media manipulation......on September 11, 2001

Deficits never cost anyone a vote. From 1934 until 1984 every Republican clamored over and over about the terrible deficits. In fact in 1932 FDR ran on the fact that he would lower government spending and balance the budget. That is what he ran on... That is not what he did.
By 1936 the Republicans were certain that a still terrible economy now coupled with big budget deficits would take FDR down. Poor old Alf Landon harped on those deficits for the entire campaign. FDR won 60% to 36%.
Not to be out done, Wendall Willkee tried it again in 1940 and got badly beaten. Not learning anything from 36 and 40, Dewey tried it against first FDR in 44 and Truman in 48. It failed again.
Ike did not campaign on a balanced budget at all. He won.
The deficits are bad bad bad continued to be a Republican theme for 20 more years. Then in 1996 Clinton used the deficit issue somewhat. I remember Dole saying he is welcome to it. The Republicans used it for 40 years and it never worked.
If the economy is good, no one cares. If the economy is poor, the party proposing the most popular fix wins. A party that blames the other party for the problem and says the other sides fix won't work but offers no fix of their own gets killed at the polls.
Think of it as if you had cancer. Dr #1 proposes a chemo to treat it. He says it could cure your cancer. Dr #2 says Dr #1's cure will not work and you should not take it. If Dr +2 does not offer a medicine to treat your cancer, what do you do? Even if you thought the odds are that Dr.#1's cure would not work, you would still take his treatment because you would believe that a treatment with some chance of working is better than no treatment.
What the Democrats have done about the economy is the worst possible strategy. "The Republican cure won't work" and "We Democrats don't have one to try", is not a way to get the job of running the country. It is like the publics approach to FDR in 1936. They reasoned that FDR's policies many not be working yet, but at least he was trying something. Landon just opposed FDR and offers no cure. He got clobbered.
The Democrats have forgotten that something beats nothing in almost any contest.

I am under orders to speak to you about familial things and I always obey orders.
Your brother has tersian 3 but is on some new meds and is doing great. We just got back from Aunt Jane's where we watched Airplane and half of "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines." We'll watch the second half tomorrow night.
We can stay in this house for at least another year and probably for as long as we want.
We got our five-year driver's licenses today. It only was a three hour process.
Are you back at Gran's?
Did I do enough Dog, or shall I keep going?

It doesn't matter if I did enough or not. I've wrested "nap control" away from Guennie and I'm off to become horizontal with my eyes closed.

I only choose the best for your viewing and filter out the brainless. That link change after posting kills me every time. That's what I get for posting liberal cartoonist with one lucid idea a month.

Exactly.
This woman, and I'm being generous, doesn't deserve to be in any position to run for anything.

Still Morning here is MS so, A GOOD A.M. TO ONE AND ALL FROM THE 'WET' MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!!
Went up to the farm and started doing some brush clearing and WHAMO, did the raid fall, I think ALL on me and yes, it DOES rain on you day somethimes. WET big time but got some clearing done. Found some more fence post holes to fill in and did get a couple done before it poured. It is so plesant up there and now, I am praying things work out so we can start building.
I hear there is another bus bombing in 'murder land'. The Jews have a bad situation and Arafat does not want peace, he wants to push the Jews out to sea, he wants the land (and a few more billion dollars for his own account). I think that Sharron is going to have to declare a all out war on those killers and take drastic measures, no other way. Nothing has changed, the world hates the Jews but they better wake up, they have God on their side.
Glad to be dry, glad to get a little bite to eat and now, think I will just rest and do nothing. I will see ya'll in a littlebit.
